Hi.
Three years ago, at Typhoon Lagoon, I bought my husband a 4XL rash guard shirt. It has worked out great, but I can't seem to find them anywhere, anymore, and it's almost time for a new one. He normally wears a 2XL, but since the rash guard shirts are so tight, a 4XL is the best choice. We've even been to the shops at Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon and they didn't have them last November. Can anyone help? I've tried the internet without much luck also.
Thanks!

Thanks for help. One of the 4 reviews says the 3XL was too tight and that person normally wore a 2XL. That's exactly what I'm afraid of. I'll have to keep trying. I appreciate you forwarding me what you found though! THANKS!!!

If anyone is heading out to a water park soon, if you see mens rash guard shirts in a 4xl available, will you please let me know? If you happen to remember the price, that would be even more helpful. I found a place to order them on line, but if we can get one down there in 4 weeks, we'll save the shipping costs. Thanks.

Check out Lands End. They have them for men up to a sixe XXL.

The good thing about Lands End is that they have frequent free ship promotions and all returns can be made to a local Sears...gives you the ability to order and try for fit with no money lost to shipping.

It is also possible that they have the rash guard shirts in the Sears store near you since they do carry some Lands End. It may be worth a peak if you happen to be near a store.

try kohls.com---i saw some on there but am not sure what sizes they had in mens.

I tried kohls. They didn't have any for mens. although I saw a lot of cute swim suits for me if i can lose 15 lbs! I think the 2xl at lands end will be too tight. I'd prefer it a little bit bigger than too tight. Thanks for the help. If we can get one at WDW, that's what I'd prefer, but if they don't sell them in a 4X there anymore, I'll order one from UVSkinz.com.Thanks, again, for the help!

Not to hog your thread or anything:lovestruc, but this is a great thread idea for this time of year! I, too, have been looking, for rash guards. I know about Lands End, but would prefer to buy off the rack if possible. Has anyone found rash guards for girls/ladies? They were so popular in stores last year, but this year- nothing.
I was able to find little boy sizes at Kohls. What do the girls do? Wear the boy ones?
If anyone spots some, can you post, please?
And, I will keep watch for 4X sizes, too!

I got my DH a swim shirt made by MTA sports at a local store (Meijers). It is not a true rash guard but he likes it better because it doesn't have the high neck and is cut wider.

When you hold it up you can see the little holes in it and it is extremely lightweight, also has wicking for comfort and quick dry.

MTA Sports is a common brand and can be found all over.

My DH has had a regular rash guard shirt before(a few pounds back) and thinks this shirt is just as good. He wears 1x and likes to be covered swimming.

What's wrong with his old rashguard shirt? Rashguards are supposed to be snug, because if they're too big they float around in the water. When people complain of them being too tight, it's usually because they expect them to fit like a T-shirt.

Target had some Men's Champion Dri-Guard? Shirts which were the same material as a rash guard shirt, but which were loose. Try there - I got one for oldest DS who has wears a men's size. He has a pot belly so the Rashguard shirts don't fit. There were with the regular active wear shirts for Guys. I was able to get him his regular size. I think I paid $12.

Try Target as that is where I found the girls' ones. They had some on clearance for $4.98 and the regular priced ones were $9.99. They also had the matching bermuda shorts for $9.99 as well.

I agree! They are not supposed to fit like a T-shirt.

I swim everyday and need a rash guard (doctor said so) to keep the sun off my back and I like my rash guard to fit snugly. Otherwise, it's flapping in the water, which creates a lot of drag. Remember, they stretch out easily so what feels tight when you put it on could feel like five pounds of wet fabric by summer's end. I know not everyone swims laps, but I don't think a loose rash guard would feel comfortable even just splashing in the water.

I find that most men who don't really want to wear a shirt in the water will only wear one if it looks like street clothes. My DH is one of them. He won't wear a real rashguard because he doesn't like tight clothing, but he'll wear a UV protective quick-dry t-shirt without complaint when he spends the day at the beach building sand castles with the kdis in shallow water. If he's really swimming for any period, he'll take it off temporarily.

My local Walmart sells "workout" shirts up to 3XL. I believer they are $9.99. They are IDENTICAL to rash guards - same material (100% polyester) and they block the sun and dry super fast!

Thanks for this thread! DH needs a new one and as he's a larger guy we can't seem to find them anywhere.
