We are going in 25 days for my DD's 5th B'day.

Well apparentl;y they are sold out if the dress online in her size.

Can anyone give my the length of the size 10?

If it's not too long, maybe I can order that one and just take it in.

I don't have the measurements, but my DD7 wears a size 10 in her Tiana and Ariel dresses, and she is 4'6", if that helps any. A few years ago, I picked up a size 10 Cinderella dress for $1 at a garage sale and cut it to fit her; but it never fit right--too wide, and the bottom looked short overall. But, hemming tulle and satinlike fabric is tough!

I bet they have the dress down there. They cost more (at least $65), but in my opinion are nicer than the Disney Store ones.

Well if I could be certain I would find her size there, I would just wait.

But so far I have only been able to find a phot oof the one at DTD & it is not at all as cute as the one online.

And we are not going there. Our first day is HS then MK day 2 & then Epcot day 3 (her bday at Akershus)

The photo of the online Disney Store shows a really short dress, that's why I thought I could go up a size. But you'r right about the bodice to skirt ratio maybe looking off.

Should I just cave and buy one on ebay for couble? I never shop on ebay, I'm too scared of getting ripped off.

What about a dress that looks like Rapunzels? I know some people here have had luck with mydressuptrunk.com for dresses. They're not Disney, but they look similar, are made of non-itchy fabrics, and are pretty affordable. If our baby is a girl (Thinking pink here!), I will probably get her dress up dresses from there. (I loved playing dress up...do little girls still play dress up??)

ETA: They have a couple Rapunzel dresses! I haven't ordered from them, but they've been mentioned several times on the DIS.

I think they sell the dresses all over. That's what Disney does--you find the same merchandise in every park over and over. I know that there's a nice princess dress place in MK near the castle, also on main street, and I think there's one attached to Akershus. The one in HS is back near the Playhouse Disney show.

I don't know about ebay, but I'm sure someone else will be along who does.

BTW, would this work? It's technically a nightgown, but it's really cute and gets great reviews. I almost got it for my DD, but decided she has enough princess stuff. Other people say they use it as a costume.

Thank you for the info on mydressuptrunk.com!!!! I've been trying to get my daughter the Rapunzel dress for over a month now!!! She really wanted it for her Birthday which was at the beginning of the month (I buy her a new Disney Princess costume every yr for her birthday) and I just couldn't find a quality one in her size! I'm going to hold out and see if the Disney Store gets anymore in stock for BF but if not I'm going to get her the one at My Dress Up Trunk. Thanks sooooooo much! :yay:

I like that nightgown someone above posted. One thing I hate about costumes (20 years in theater, here) is that most of the time they look good but they are made of itchy, scratchy, uncomfortable material. A nightgown that looks like a dress sure would be a comfy alternative!

Keep checking back on line at disney store. As they didn't have my granddaughter size one day and I just kept checking. About a week later they had it in her size.

Also I order my granddaughter a size bigger in the pink dress that they had as my daughter said that she wanted that one also. The reason I went ahead and order it the bigger size is because it was on sale for 19.99.

Which is a really good price. We got the bigger size one in today and its a little bit bigger but she can still wear it. She is only 2 years old but she can wear a some of the 3 but 4 fits the best and 5 is a little bit big.
