We're deciding which moderate to stay in this summer. We have already ruled out CSR.

We expect to use the food court several times and therefore would like to know which foodcourt you prefer from the remaining choices - POR, POFQ, CBR - and why you prefer that foodcourt.

Thanks

We have stayed at POR and CBR, I think they are both similar. They do have a few selections that are different from each other but I would not say either one stands out over the other. I do however prefer POR resort in general over CBR. I think the best food court is at POP!

We've stayed at all 3 and this is my opinion: CBR, POR then POFQ. I use a few criteria for this ranking. First is selection of food choices, then the staff and finally ability to find a seat! The food choices at POR are better than the other 2, but CBR is a real close 2nd. The staff at both POR and POFQ act as though they really don't like their jobs and it shows, at CBR the staff is always smiling and very helpful, they even have games that they run for the kids during dining times. At POFQ, the choices are standard WDW CS, but the staff was so rude, at the food counters and at the registers, that we just avoided eating there and went to POR. Hope that helps.

We have not eaten at CBR, but have eaten at the other 2. I say POR first and POFQ second. The staff at both are wonderful. They play games with the kids at mealtimes. Seating is easier to find at POR and love the choose you own pasta. However, i absolutely need to have an order of beignets each trip so POFQ is the place for those! For CS, both place have tasty food at decent prices. And if you are staying at 1 of them and bought the refillable mug (or get it as part of your dining plan), then currently you can use it at either food court since they are sister resorts (POFQ and POR).

Great to here the CBR food court is good. We are use to pop's but are more than likey staying at CBR this year.

In order of preference....POR, POFQ, CBR

I think that POR has a better selection of food....the make your own pasta and salad stations are great.

To me, CBR felt much more burger and fry-ish. On the up side the staff and atmosphere are great.

I do agree with a PP that the staff at POR & FQ are not the happpiest lot but I care more about the food than the staff.

Yep I am with you on this one...def POR. Also what you have to remember here is that POR and POFQ CS are only a 10 min walk from each other so you have even more choice right next door. I thought the make your own pasta and omelette was a great option. Oh and as the PP said the beignets at POFQ are just wonderful and also a snack credit!! I think CBR food court is ok but it always seems so very noisey in there, maybe because POR has carpet down and CBR doesn't. I just found myself constantly having to shout to my DH! Don't forget either, that POR has that most wonderful of entertainers Bob Jackson...
Oh and I have never found the CM's to be anything other then really good, happy, helpful etc at POR or POFQ!!

I am sure that what ever you decide you will love it anyway.:)

We have not eaten (nor stayed) at POR in years, so I can only rank CBR and POFQ.

The food court at POFQ is tiiiiiiny. We liked the different food choices there (the beignets are fantastic!) and that there was at least an attempt to offer food that you might find in NOLA (albeit, very generically...)

The food court at CBR has standard fare, but many more options, as its sheer size allows for variety in the stations. We especially liked the a la carte section of CBR, as we did not always find ourselves wanting an entire meal. They seemed to have a really good variety of items at the a la carte station, as well.

Theming and decorations at both are super cute. Loved the kids' meals served in sand buckets at CBR. We found the staff at both locations to be very helpful. CBR has a couple of cute "come on kids, let's all do the limbo" type of events throughout the day. We never did see anything like that at POFQ, which is not to say it doesn't exist, we just didn't happen upon them.

Wherever you stay, I'm sure you will love it!

Have fun!

I would say POR, then POFQ, then CBR. As noted, when you stay at POR or POFQ you get to go to both food courts, and each has different menus. Additionally, the water taxi to DTD is worth the stay at these two resorts. The boat to DTD is so much better, and quicker, than the bus. DTD has loads of shops, restaurants and live entertainment. The resorts also have live entertainment Weds-Sat.

I don't care for CBR because there are so many kids running around and being playful and noisy. There's no complaint in my comment, I just like things quieter while on vacation. Perhaps you would find the many kids at CBR a more appealing atmosphere.

I can only comment on CBR and POR food courts.

They both have similar foods. I think CBR has a lot more guests using the food court and even at busy times can move people in and out faster than they can at POR. The lines, especially at the registers are always very crowded at POR. CBR register lines move much more quickly.

POFQ it's small, you get served fast we've found the staff friendly, they gave advice how to maximise the use of our QSDP.
CBR great theme, bright colours good variety of food.
POR too busy, slow service, have to walk between a lot of windows if you want something different for everyone in your part, slow service, choice of food not as big as you think it is just spread over a larger area, slow service, have to wait for tables oh and of course the slow service.

We have stayed at POFQ and CBR, in May we will be at POR. We definitely preferred CBR to POFQ food court. POFQ is just so small - even though we were there in off season and during a "monsoon" it was hard to find a table. DS5 has a food allergy and while they did assist us, they weren't overly helpful. CBR CM on the other hand, were incredibly helpful and there seemed to be more options and much more space. And, we thought the beignets were ok, but not really anything special - I know:duck:

May I ask why you ruled it out? I would've suggested that over all other mods. The minor lil 4 or 5 dollar tip u leave is meaningless.
1) you never ever wait, like you do in all the other 3 mods. ( They feel like values)
2) You never ever have to do the food court shuffle, after getting your food, and trying to navigate to the open table that doesn't exist.
3) Food choices here at CSR are great.

If there is a dead reason that you don't wanna go to CSR, the n my next choice would be POR. Good stations there , but vry crowded that's all.

We have stayed at all three resorts. I would order them POR, PORFQ, CBR.

POR-build your own pasta is GOOD and HUGE. Easily enough for 2 people.
POFQ- muffasomething sandwich was excellent. Beignets are tasty. VERY limited seating.
CBR-nothing speical here to me at all.
