Yeah, last year I was in AP World History, and since an A in that class is worth 5 quality points here, I still managed 4 quality points since I could only maintain a B in that class.

AP World History? We don't have that... since you take World History your freshman year, it's only available in regular or honors.

Never heard of quality points, is that just how well you do in the class?

In my town's school system, sophomores take world history in reg, honors, or AP (college level, you take a huge test in the spring to determine whether or not you get a college credit. 5 is the highest you can get and need a 3 to qualify).

I wrote everything I knew for that test and scored a 2.

Freshmen take AP Human Geography (sociology). I BS'd that exam and got a 4.

I'm in AP U.S. History and AP English Language & Composition this year. Both easy.

Quality points determine how many points you get for that class in your GPA.

I hate how in the first year of college/sixth form you can't get A*s, As are the highest grade. So if I get my predicted B in June, it sounds like it's the 3rd best grade when it's actually the 2nd. It just sucks.

That makes sense. We don't have Human Geography.
If you get an A in honors you get higher than a 4.0
If you get a B in honors you get higher than a 3.0
