Random Thoughts: Post em!

PS: I wasn't talking about this thread actually. I was perusing some of the threads (haven't read them and won't waste the time) but was so glad their was a thread to come and post RANDOM thoughts.

Holycow

I'd rather sit on a pumpkin and have it all to myself, than be crowded on a velvet cushion.

My random thought for the day :).

Was that on CSI this week?

LOL, YUP! And for some reason I couldn't get that quote out of my head...That's so funny, I said to myself while writing that "Somebody is sure to know where this came from..."

LOL, I just noticed your signature.....those darn Grissom quotes... :sunny:

What I learned today (and what my mother learned a few days ago): When you have a mostly white dog, don't buy her a dark green flannel comforter to lie on. She will turn green.

Did the comforter turn white? :confused3

She can change the dog's name to Elphaba.

Actually, it did turn slightly white...that's what happens to cheap $15 comforters from Ocean State Job Lot.

Would you believe I even asked her "What the h*ll happened to you?" Yeah, like she's going to answer :sad2:

At least she's coordinated now, with her green collar. Now she's a little Irish doggie (she's white with red spots, and her name is Tara. Miss Scarlett's Tara, after Gone With the Wind).

Lame Joke Alert!

I tried to buy some camouflage trousers the other day, but I couldn't find any.

:guilty:

A man and his wife are awakened at 3 am by a loud pounding on the door. The man gets up and goes to the door where a drunken straner, standing in the pouring rain, is asking for a push.

"Not a chance!" says the husband. "It's 3 o'clock in the morning!" He slams the door and returns to bed.

"Who was that?" asks his wife.

"Just some drunk guy asking for a push," he answers.

"Did you help him?" she asks.

"No, I did not, it is three in the morning and it is pouring out!"

"Well, you have a short memory," says his wife. "Can't you remember about three months ago when we broke down and those two guys helped us? I think you should help him, and you should be ashamed of yourself!"

The man does as he is told, gets dressed, and goes out into the pounding rain. He calls out into the dark, "Hello, are you still there?"

"Yes," comes back the answer.

"Do you still need a push?" calls out the husband.

"Yes, please!" comes the reply from the dark.

"Where are you?" asks the husband.

"Over here on the swing!" replies the drunk.

:guilty: OK, Ok, I'm done.... :guilty:

"Kiss me goodbye pushing out before I sleep
It's lower now and slower now
The strangest twist upon your lips
But I don't see and I don't feel
But tightly hold up silently my hands
Before my fading eyes and in my eyes your smile...

The very last thing before I go..."
