1. 6 nights and 7 days is NOT enough time! I'm very sorry we didn't have at
least 2 more days.

2. It CAN be almost 90 degrees every day for a week in December!

3. Character meals are worth every penny!

4. The new Photo Pass thing is VERY cool .... hunt down those
photographers!

5. I miss specific park souvenirs -- especially for Disney Studios. When I
asked where I might find an MGM coffee mug, I was told "No where,
because they don't exsist.

6. The Art of Disney doesn't have as much cool stuff as they used to.

7. Epcot gets better as you get older. Plan more time for it if you are
over 35.

8. Festival of the Lion King at AK is NOT to be missed!

9. If you don't have a PS, ask check at the restaurant anyway,
we got a table for 10 at Prime Time Cafe with no PS and only
a 10 minute wait.

10. You don't have to get the fries that come with the sandwhiches at
the counterservice restaurants. It isn't on the shown on the menus,
but if you ask for a cheeseburger without fries, they are only $4.00
as opposed to $5.79 with the fries.

11. Check out where the boats run to and from. We took several very nice
relaxing rides on them.

12. Liberty Square is a great place to watch MK parades.

13. The new Crush show at Living Seas in Epcot is incredible.
Have your kids think up a couple turtle questions ahead of time
and have them sit up front on the floor.

14. Rock N' Roll Rollercoaster is the BEST RIDE EVER!!!!!!!!

15. When your 2 year old nephew kisses Pooh on the nose have a camera
pointed on your teary eyed brother.

16. Limo companies that offer free grocery stops are wonderful things!

17. MGM Studios park has the best shopping...IMHO

18. ECV's are WELL worth it if you are travelling with a grandparent
or older person.

19. Disney deserves every nickel they charge to get in the parks,
who else squeegees the sidewalks after a surprise downpour?

20. Take time to see some of the deluxe resorts...it is SO worth it!

21. Having some sort of plan/intinerary is a MUST...even if you don't
stick to it, you need a general idea of what you will do when.

22. Hotel or front gate delivery is a WONDERFUL thing....Use it!

That's it off the top of my head. Hope it helps someone.

I'm glad to hear you had a great trip. Thank you for the tips. They are very useful. Welcome back.

I never knew you could get the burger without fries. Great tip.

I had an opposite reaction to Art of Disney last October tho - there were 4 Trevor Carlton paintings that I absolutely would die for. I am hoping for such luck when we are down in April, perhaps DH will fall in love with one (or more) also.

I don't believe I've seen that attraction. How old is that? Where exactly is it located?
How could I have missed that!!!?

Hello Lisa ~

I'm so glad you had such a wonderful trip, and so glad you shared it with all of us! And how true, about the sidewalks, the shopping, the delivery service and everything wonderful at Disney!

How did the FITS voucher exhange go??? I'd guess you didn't have any troubles, but where did you make the exchange and was there any problem at all?

Now I'm more anxious than ever about going. I finally made it to single digit. Yeah! I hope my trip is as lovely. This will be my first time going for the Holidays. Thanks for all of the positive feedback!

I never knew the fry thing.. nice tip and its sad to hear they no longer have studio ciffee mugs.

I agree with every one of your tip and thanks for posting them, sounds like you had a great time.

Thanks for the great tips!

Our trip in April will be a first for my brother and his family so I appreciate your tip about taking pictures of the parents as their children interact with the characters!!! What a memory that will preserve! :wizard:

The Crush Attraction is at Living Seas in Epcot and it is SO cool! It's only about a 10 minute thing, but it is amazing! Crush is hilarious.

You go into a darkened room and there is a "screen" that looks like a window into a tank. Crush comes out and talks to the audience, but it's like he can really see everyone. The kids can ask him questions and he calls them by name! REALLY something. My 9 year old niece Mallory got to ask him a question and he kept calling her Mally-Mal....she is still talking about it. I have NO idea how the attraction works, but it is so worth seeing!

Make sure your kids sit up front on the floor and tell them to think up a couple turtle questions before you go in.

I've just put the Living Seas on my to do list, thank you!

Photo Pass:

There are several photographers around the parks and they will give you a plastic card, then when they take your picture, they swipe the card and your photos get uploaded to a website (www.disneyphotopass.com) you can then go look at the pictures, put borders or captions and them and email them to friends or yourself and/or order prints. We had 17 pictures done and they all came out great. They even added Tink to the one we had done in front of the castle. Very cool. You only need one card for your whole trip, just remember to have the photographer swipe it. Usually the pictures are uploaded within 24 hours to the website and I think are available for 90 days.
I loved it!

What is the new Photo Pass about?

Disregard.... I should have scrolled down before I posted my question. My bad.

Crush interacts with the people in the audience. There must be a camera and audio system linking the "voice" behind Crush with the room. (It's similar to the way the talking trash cans interact with people). There is a host who goes around with the microphone. So after Crush calls on a person, he asks their name. He calls on adults too :) I asked what turtles like to eat, and he told me that they eat sea kelp and that's why they're green. Then he asked what I like to eat, I responded "french fries" and he asked if I look like a french fry. It is really cute and worth your time.

The Crush show sounds so cute! I had heard they were adding a Finding Nemo-themed attraction in the Living Seas but I didn't know what it was. Thanks for the info! I'm so surprised they don't have park-themed mugs! They have these EVERYWHERE (at all other amusement park outside of Disney) and I'm pretty sure when I went in 2001 they had mugs in all the parks. These are usually big sellers so I don't know why they would do that!
