Once I wanted to change our double handle sink to a single handle one. I wanted DH to do it, but he never seemed to get around to it. So, when I was Home Depoting one day I bought a single handle faucet that said "easy to install, You can do it Yourself!". And I believed that box. Sadly, it was not as promised. I tried to install it while DH was at work. But I ended up with a leaky mess for DH to fix when he got home. He is a good man. He wasn't even cranky about it.

well it was all his fault anyway, for not doing it right away when you asked like he was supposed to!

Thank you!! Well a friend of ours in a foster mom, and she has a one year old boy in her care that is available for adoption. We are really hoping things work out for him, but if they don't I am sure that there will be someone else to worm their way into our hearts!!

A couple at our church is adopting their third child currently. A baby girl. They have a four year old boy and a two year old boy, both adopted. I didn't even realize the boys were adopted until there was an article in the paper about them adopting the little girl.

Well I had better get going DH is outside mowing the lawn, and it seems that he is having some problems with the mower....lol our luck!!

Wonder where DCT has been today? Probably busy downloading her Disneyland photos for us.

you guys won't even believe this one... we all slept until after noon! We are not usually at Disneyland for this long. We were there for over 12 hours, going non stop, except a few short breaks where we sat down to eat a snack. The kids and I were totally exhausted. Then I cleaned up around the house a bit, and went to Costco to shop for tomorrow!

Ds and I just spent an hour at the bank. He opened his first checking account, now that he is gainfully employed. He was a new customer, so it took forever. (even though he has a savings account, that is in our names as well as his, so it is not really HIS account...henceforth it took quite a while to do all the paperwork as a newbie) Now, to teach him to manage money electronically.

does he feel very important now to have his own checking account? I remember my first checking account and my own ATM card. I felt like I owned the world!
