Random question: how big are the magic bands? I'm just concerned that obviously I'm an adult but I have a really narrow wrist. Just wondering if anyone knows how long the adult magic bands? How far do they adjust down? How large are the kids bands? I'm wondering if I can possibly request a kids band instead of an adult.

All bands are the same size and initially designed for an adult but can be adjusted down to kid-size by removing a portion. That portion cannot be reattached.

From my knowledge, it's all one band, both adults and kids. So there's a child's option that you can pop out of the full adult band. My wrists are pretty small as well, but it fit on the tiniest adult one.

I have very small wrists and so does my daughter (even though she's 17 she has child like hands/wrists). We didn't seem to have an issue in December with the Magic Bands. You can adjust them to fit your wrist.

I just cut off some of the black part of the band so that there is less overlapping material under my wrist. It works fine that way.

Thanks everyone! I'm feeling better about not having the band fall off my wrist in the parks because of my narrow hands/wrists.

I also have very narrow wrists. When I got the MB, I tried it out on a kid's size before I stripped off the grey part. I thought it was a little too tight for comfort - espeically in the heat. I ended up using it almost to the kid size (one hole in the last color spot and one in the first grey spot).

I did cut the excess off on the inside so it wouldn't overlap as much and be slightly looser. However, I think I cut too much and my band sat funny on my wrist after; it kind of listed to one side. And the cut edge rubbed on my skin a bit so I tried to round off the edges using a razor blade. That wasn't very successful. It ended up being fine and I didn't have a problem in the parks but I think I would either not cut off so much next time or I would just leave it.

there is only one standard size for everyone.
to make it a "child" magic band you can just remove the one part.
so i'd suggest doing that if your wrist is really that small.
but before you do it be sure that is definitely what you want to do cuz once that part comes off it does not go back on.

When converted to the child size, the MB is 7.5 inches long. It fits fine that way on my 5.5 inch wrist.
