Ranch, new lobby looks great and should help the congestion in the room.

I hope you still have Extreme running! I am more than half way now and I am determined to finish it! LOL, I don't even care about a prize now, I just want to finish it. LOL

LOL Girl! I think you might be the only one that's out to conquer that Extreme Quest! I hate to say it though, with no winner on that engine and with it just sitting, waiting for one, it's costing me a few hundred quest author points a day! I'm going to have to do away with the Extreme Quest and maybe install the timed quest (mentioned above) into it. If that happens, Fan, I have a compensation prize for you for trying so hard!

I had it open for about an hour, and now I'm testing it again so that a warning could be added.

On the new matsers quest for bat magic, the warning reads:

I will shut down the quest if new accounts are winning, don't try it!

Ranch, I love your quests but I think this has already turned ugly. There is no way the times already posted are legit! I am pretty good at these quests and I still had a time of 17 minutes! It is a well done quest - great hiding places and such. But, people will cheat. I just can't think of any way to prevent it. The sad thing is that if it is shut down early, the cheaters get the prizes anyway!

Ranch, this is not a complaint about you at all. You have done wonderful things. I am just fed up with some people's behavior on VMK. They will stop at nothing to get what they want.

Until reading your post just now, I just realized when I shut down that timed quest to edit the heading, I had given out all those awesome prizes.. to mules! lol! Not all them though, another quest "doer" who recieved teleport magic during the mistake came to find me and gave it back! Very nice girl! Anyways, I've lost a bat magic pin, a space suit, pirate couch, and a wanted poster here with not knowing what I'm doing, and I've already put another bat magic in the engine before I realized that I'm a moron! Not to worry though, if mules end up in the top rankings this time, I'll let some friends bypass the race and retrieve the prizes, that way they can be given more fairly!

All is good as of now though, a CL is in first place!

I think it's sad of these people but Ranch ur wrong for saying if any guest wins you will shut down or let friends bypass. Thats kinda shady of you. there is no real way to prevent mules because well not all mules are guests and not all guests are mules.

Call me what you want, just make sure it's the right thing. Shady is when you're doing something and hiding the fact you're doing it. I'm telling mulers straight up, if I see guest2.2million in first place, it won't work. I've already lost 1 bat magic by not knowing I couldn't close the quest on muling. I've spent 20,000 on the engine, 10,000 on the magic, and countless credits on the race. So it doesn't really matter what you say I am or am being, I've got plenty to give and share with people, how about showing some appreciation for me wanting to do it fairly, instead of calling me out as shady? Awesome.

Shady does not mean hiding it, you're confusing the word shade and shady. shady means dishonest and misleading. i think its shady to exclude guest players from winning because you assume they are a mule. you have no way of knowing who is who. like i said someone could easily use a mule account that has a title already and beat your policing system

Cool. I may come and try it out.

I also agree that it's a shame that people are using mules to come back for more prizes. But, Just because a person is guest##, does not necessarily mean that they are a mule. And, as was said, a person can use a mule they've had for ages to come in and play.

I don't care about titled mules, of course there's no way of knowing if it's someone's 3rd or 4th attempt at the quest, but I'll repeat, if they're lame enough to use a guest2.2million account, only then will the quest will be taken over to salvage really good prizes for honest peeps.. because lets face it, someone just joining vmk isn't going to shoot right to that quest engine, know the extremeness of bat magic, and know how to get through the race in a record time.

Has anyone here done the Haunted Mansion Quest? I tried that last week and got stuck on the "finish the sentence" part (the one about finding a way out). Tried again today and still stuck. I've tried everything, ghost names, "Grim Grinning Ghost" lyrics, and various emoticons, and nada. Any hints?

As for the timed quest, I know it took VMK months to give me my actual name. I signed up in October and didn't get my name approved until mid-December, I believe. That being said, this is what happens when people are dishonest and try and snatch all prizes for themselves. Innocent people pay the price. It's sad, but IMO, if I still had my guest name, I'd rather not get the prizes if it meant players who were trying to cheat the system wouldn't get anything either. That's JMHO though.

Don't remember what quest it was, but yesterday I won a green wreath! I was so excited! I made a Christmas room back in December to put all my things up, and it'll look great next to my pink wreath. Thanks so much Ranch!

Ranch, any quest you do is awesome but yes, I am still missing extreme quest. It was my determination to finish it that kept me going on it so long.

I did the new Master quest today but got DC'd several times and I think I ended up in last place and with the slowest time because of that. (well also because I could not find those atoms in the rooms either). It is a great quest and a bit of a challenge for me as I cannot manuever well on those space couches at all.

I also tried the Under Miner maze? Quest today to. I finally finished but most likely will end up last again. But who cares, it is so much and you do an outstanding job creating the quest.

I will look forward to the day that you create another Extreme Quest! I am up for the challenge.

Ranch I know I have talked to you before in VMK. Your quests are awesome and a variety of levels of difficulty. I did adventure one tonight as well as the underminer one . I never thought I could make it to the 30,000 points in jungle cruise when I saw the goal in the Task description, but after trying about four times not only did I do it but I managed to make it to almost 50,000. I love playing your quests as often as I can the prizes are mixed up just right and winning my first fireworks pin off your quest was awesome.

Tonight though i had to laugh with your new Music quest which you yourself said was one of your easiest would not even allow me past the first task . I have searched all through snow whites forest for whatever item it is I am to look for. I hope I was indeed looking in the correct place. I will definitly try again tomorrow and not give up until I find it though. (if you can offer any suggestions though I would be very grateful though )

Your rooms are very well designed, my favorites are the jungle cruise and haunted mansion rides which are so detailed it reminds me of really being at WDW and makes me want to break out my WDW soundtrack CDs.
