Arriving the evening of June 23rd leaving very early June 28th.
Staying at TownePlace Suites Anaheim Maingate near Angel Stadium.
Very excited as it's our first family trip to Disneyland !!

1. I see now that i'm pretty much planning a trip for in between two sets of AP blockouts. Will it make that big of a difference that I should reconsider my dates?

2. I have picked all weekdays, and am worried that there won't be entertainment like on the weekends. Will we still be able to see the fireworks, fantasmic, parade, etc? Or should I change dates to include weekend time as well?

1. With Cars Land now officially opening on the 15th I'd guess the early June days should be mild, unless they decide to open Cars Land or some of it's attractions before the official date. That isn't likely but possible.

2. I'm not sure if it's better to add a Sunday onto your visit to be sure you get the night shows, or gamble. Last year Summer Nightastic started Memorial Day Weekend and Soudsational parade during the day and Magical and F! went nightly. This year with the Gran Reopening of DCA on June 15th they could hold off. In a couple week Disney will probably be announcing it's Summer Promotion.

We will be there Sunday June 3rd through Wednesday June 6th....then heading to the beach, Universal or Knott's Berry Farm for a few nights.

We can't wait for our DL trip this June as well! It will just be our little family of four: Myself, DH, and our 2 girls (13 and 4 yrs).

We're arriving in SD June 9th and doing SW June 10th, but we'll be at the DLH from June 11-17.

Of course, I live 25 mins from the place, so not a huge feat lol. But I am staying Disney free until that date! I want to feel like everything is new and fresh!

Thanks for picking up my slack I've been so busy with school/gym/house stuff.

Has everyone made their dinning ressies? Some of you will still have to wait a bit cause it's not quite 60 days out for you yet, but soon.
I've made mine at Frountierland BBQ (lunch), The Plaza Inn (breakfast), and Ariel's/WOC (dinner). All on different days. I'm still trying to add a Sunday night to HOJO's, as of now they still don't have a retro rate for that day. The in-house reservationist said dates are added (if at all) on Mondays.

I've noticed that Hojo is adding days very last minute. Keep on checking.

Actually, I'd prefer to break it up a little but we planned on staying at VGC with my daughter, her husband, and his parents in early June. Then a conference at the Anaheim Convention Center came up that I was asked to attend in late June. I suppose I shouldn't whine. My wife and another daughter are coming on the second trip.

SO excited! I just got invited to a conference in San Diego in June, which means (of course!) I am adding a stop at DLR to the end of my trip.

I will be at the DL Hotel June 28 - July 1 and I can hardly wait. Looking forward to Cars Land and World of Color plus all the hotel refurbs and the millions of other things I have always loved about DLR.

Maybe I will finally meet up with some DIS-ers as well!

We'll be there for my annual birthday pilgrimage - June 10-17 at VGC. I think I'll be lopping off either the first couple of days or the last couple but the Carsland opening has made it tough for me to decide which end.
