:worried: I know this question has probably been discussed before, but I couldn't find it. What do folks do on Rainy days at Disney? I don't mean the occasional mid afternoon shower that Florida always gets in the summer. I mean the days when the forecast says heavy showers all day! :worried: I know there is Disneyquest but I imagine that must get packed on rainy days.

What's your suggestions?

Some of our best days in the parks are the rainy ones.

i've only been in disney 1 day when it was a complete wash out (early March, low crowd levels). We had originally planned it as a Blizzard Beach day but obviously that wasnt an option so we took it as a lazy day and decided to go to Disney Quest. It was pretty busy there but we got there well past opening so if you decide to go i'd suggest go right when it opens on a rainy day. other than that i think we went back to the hotel for a while and then over to MK where we had dinner ressies. the park was pretty empty because of the rain so we pretty much did all the indoor ones like Haunted Mansion, Snow White, Peter Pan, Space Mountain, etc.

I have been there for my December trips that it rained every day for 3 or 4 days. We go to the parks and do everything like we normally would. Just be prepared for it. My girls think it is great walking around in ponchos and jumping in puddles. The lines are definitely shorter. I covered the stroller with a regular stroller cover and never had a problem!! You can still see characters they are just indoors and most all of the rides continue in the rain no matter how hard it is coming down!!

We definitely have some rain memories!!!

The best thing IMHO is to go to the parks, we've done 'em all in the rain. Low crowd levels and lots of fun. Think about it, Splash Mountain & BTMRR in the rain, oh what fun!! KRR in the rain, just a little more wet than usual. There is nothing I personally would suggest more than going to the parks, if you don't go, you miss out! Just remember your ponchos or pick one up at any gift shop or cart in the park (on rainy days, they sell 'em everywhere!).

I agree best days in the parks are the days it rains all day. No attractions actually close unless there is lighting then a few closes till the storm passes. Never will there be lighting absolutely all day. Pick the park that has the most indoor stuff you want to do if bein in rain all the time concerns you.

If we are at WDW for several days and one of them happens to be a washout we always go to Disneyquest if we have that included with our admissions. We also sometimes choose a movie in Downtown Disney. These are also good options if it is extremely hot.
