DH and I havent ate at a RFC before and need your opinion. Should we do RFC in DTD for dinner, RFC in AK for breakfast or do both? Give me your reviews on both. Food? Service? Worth the money? etc Another thing I was considering is on the day we finish up AK and do DTD, do RFC in AK for Breakfast, then do Wolfgang Puck Express (CS Meal) for dinner and then do RFC in DTD for desert.

its disney!!lots of $$$$$$$and litte food,,but then again,,,it is a very nice place ,,lots to see..good show when it starts,,(the rain forest show)..you should go ..but you will spend$$$$$$$$$,we go then i bithch,,,,wow that cost alot!!!!

RFC for dinner in DTD - or lunch

we like being able to shop before or after eating there

ate at the AK location once - eh - it was ok - we're just not big on the AK park to begin with, but the food was ok

It's a chain restaurant.. been to about 5 different ones. They're pretty much the same, one of the was more noisy then the others, I think because it was in a outlet mall. Service varies by server more then restaurant. I recommend going to which ever one ends up being easier to stop by, but probably not both.

If you are looking for a place for desert in DTD... Do Raglan Road and get the bread pudding!! I don't think I've had a desert in my life good enough to compare with it :)

Oh and while you are at AK, eat at Flame Tree BBQ, not Rainforest. Rainforest is just kinda.. unspecial. It's fake animals inside a building, when you could be eating outside in the beautiful FL weather around -real- animals :) Rainforest does have an occasional fake sudden downpour in the restaurant, but Florida has real sudden downpours. Way more magical :)

We are gonna do Flame Tree for lunch, I was wondering about RFC at AK for breakfast not lunch.

Is RFC worth the money??? That's a really good question. I have been to several RFC before, and you are definitely paying for the atmosphere. Even without being in WDW they are expensive. The food is good, but typical of your everyday foods. I don't think it is that unique. It is mainly your typical restuarant food with cute names. However, having said that I was intrigued to find the serve breakfast at the AK so my hubby and I are going to eat breakfast there one day. I know allearsnet.com under dining and the menus lists the food items and I think they are on RFC website so take a look at those. I know that RFC for breakfast is a very small selection choice. The atmosphere is fun especially if you have kids, but it does get loud and it is dark too. So may opinion make it a point to go.

My opinion...RFC is much like Coral Reef. The atmosphere is lovely, but the food is mediocre, at best.

Never been at breakfast, but the animal kingdom rainforest cafe is so much fun!!:goodvibes My family loves the aquariums, misty rainforest environment, sudden gorilla and elephant calls, and all the other trademark antics. It seems some people have a problem with the created environment, hay, it's disneyworld.:rotfl:

RFC does have the reputation being just so-so. I've found the food good, but it's pretty highly priced. Yes, the atmosphere is zesty and loud, and kids like it.

The real question to my mind between DtD and DAK is the crowds, because the places are otherwise identical. And on that count, DAK wins. The DtD one is much, much busier and has longer waits.
