Rain, Surprise Birthdays, Rain, First Visits -(Ginny is deceased-Prayers for her.)

Howdy everybody!

Sorry I haven't gotten around to posting before now. Finally got the boss on an airplane and on his way to Chicago.

Ginny, it's too funny that we're now taking pictures of the sun shining. I actually have my camera in my purse 'cause I was going to take pictures of the trees that have finally started turning. I think I'll take a picture of the sunshine too.

Hope you guys have a great time at the soccer game tonight. I know you are dreading another wet football game tomorrow.

I hit the post reply button before I meant to. Did you say that you are going to visit your mother? Maybe the holiday spirit has come early!

Ginny, its that sweet little angel sitting on your other shoulder. Helping to get you in the holiday spirit :santa: that and you are feeling it after talking about your FIL. That will normally make you feel like you need to reach out...again, and again, and again...but, you just keep trying for that comfort in times of illness and sorrow!

I have always kept my camera in my purse but took it out last week and forgot to put it back. So I have to use the phone. But it is quick to send to photobucket. And since I can't read the camera book anyway what more should I expect. :rotfl2:

So lucky you the boss is gone. My bosses wife was in today and said they would be in Monroe March 25 and either the week before or the week after. That excites me. To have him gone a week is like a raise. Ok, maybe not, but it is good to have him outta here.

Yes, I mentioned the "M" word. I really must be ill today. It's the sunshine sickness. I really would like to see Don's folks but if my mom found out I was there and didn't stop she would let me know about it a lot and for a very long time.

You are so right. I do feel bad when I don't go see her, then I go and feel bad cause I did. There is no winning but at least I know I tried. And yes, I will continue to try. She is my mother and someday she may decide she likes me. But at least I like me for going.

Thank you for the words of encouragement. Much needed.

Ginny:hug:

Just always remember even if she does not like you(which I'm sure she does and just does not realize she is conveying otherwise) --she will always LOVE YOU...the same you feel towards her...
:sunny:

Speaking of mother's - mine has flown the coop! My stepdad called the other day (whom I haven't heard from in over 4 months - him or my mom) and told me that she ran off with some person she had just met and he didn't know where she was. Turns out she was in Maryland, headed to NY, wanting to come home to him again, but the person she was with wouldn't bring her back.

Some may think that's sad, but I think it's silly. You should never get in the car with a man you have only just met and travel across state lines with them. Now she regrets her impulse decision and wants to come back, but has no way of getting back here. And step dad is doing his best to find a way to get her home. I can't believe he's thinking of taking her back after what she did, but he is.

I would so like to be through with all of their drama. :sad2:

Yes and I will always love her and remember the good times we used to have because we did. I hate it that my girls never had that chance with her.

omg, Mel. Yes why would he want her back? But there are some people who have that need to always look out for someone thinking they can make it better. He is a much better man than me. Well, you know what I mean. And yes even as I type it, I know I would be there trying one more time. I couldn't fool my friends for nothing. I think you girls know me better than I know myself.

Thank you for that.

:grouphug:

Mel all I can say to that:

:scared1:

our family has our problems (thanks to my sister--who can thank my aunt & uncle) but I guess we are normal--whatever that is:rotfl2:

I have cousin's like that (they happen to be from the above aunt and uncle):rolleyes1

 to you Mel!! on having to deal or even having to think about that

Amen and I second that. :grouphug:

He and she have broken up and got back together I couldn't tell you how many times. I know some things about that two of them that would make your hair curl. It sickens to me think that woman gave birth to me, yet I love her b/c HE would want me to. I just don't want anything to do with her.

I think they both enjoy the drama, to be honest. But he calls ME everytime they have a fight. It's the only time he calls, when he wants to me something else "your mother" did. I get tired of the drama.

I almost wish they'd go their separate ways and stop trying to put me in the middle.

When step dad told me she was headed to NY, I told him "well, at least she's getting to see part of the country she's never seen before", I got admonished.

Well. I thought it was funny! I mean, it is very comical to me! :confused3

Geesh Mel, You have to see the humor in it. Yes, way too much drama for me too. We call Austn's friend Joel the drama queen. But he is just like his mom whom I love dearly. I'm not good with too much tho.

Believe me, Mel, when I tell you that you're not alone! Being in the legal field for so many years, I have seen and heard it all. And, like John and I were saying last night, there's a nut job in every family. Doesn't matter how close the family is....there's always one thrown in the mix.

I am with you....some people just like to have drama in their lives. My sister-in-law is one of those. I sometimes think she lives to be white trash and stir the rumor/drama pot.

:grouphug: to you!

We have said that our whole lives. Sheri just wants to know is it her or her sister? Don has a sister like that as do I. I don't know where they came from.

Mel....I "Laughed out Loud" on that one...Danny just looked at me with a raised eyebrow and asked if I was going to share:rotfl2:

Good morning everybody. We are having a rainy stormy day. I know, it's rare but go figure. Everyone have a good day and if you are lucky enough to have sunshine please enjoy it for me.

Well, I will believe that one! In my family, it's like a whole bunch of nut jobs, with one or two normal ones in sthe mix! I happen to think I'm semi-normal!

My mama loves the drama! She also wants sympathy, but loses her cool when she doesn't get it (especially from me). Looks like she's gonna get step dad's sympathy vote. More power to them.

Thanks for the hugs. You are so special, Lisa! And you, Ginny, and you Connie!

Me, neither! How can you thrive off of so much negative energy???

Wow, it was drizzling this morning, but suddenly this bright orange ball came out from behind a cloud. It hurt my eyes to look at it. Somebody said it was called "sun". :confused3

Good morning Mel. I'm with you. How can one have so much drama in their life? I go for peace and tranquility.

I bet that big orange glowy thing is pretty to see. Make sure you have those colored glasses when you go outside.

Tonite is the big District football game. Who ever wins plays next week. Aust and a few others are wanting a loss but the team they are playing has won 4 but they do not play the hard teams like we do. They have an awesome running back that is first in the state for yardage. He is a junior and has colleges looking at him already. But is he that good when paired with a good team. They have lost every game that was a better team and even by more points than us. Time will tell. It is to be stormy, lots of rain and 45 by game time. They had to move it to a field that has turf as all our grass fields are soaked.

Andrew won his final game last nite. 2-1. Yay Andrew.
