Rain, Surprise Birthdays, Rain, First Visits -(Ginny is deceased-Prayers for her.)

One quick thing I wanted to add. My older brother Gary is big in the Mason's, Scottish Rite and Shrine. The highest honor you get in Scottish Rite is called a 33rd degree. The level right below that is the Red Hat. They base it on how much work you do for the group, community and everything. He received his Red Hat last Saturday Nite. Here is a pic of him and their youngest son Kurt. Who like his dad is in all three of the groups.

He is a greeter in our local Shrine and last year in an 8 state area was named Shriner of the year. He was chief greeter for years and now he is the head assistant to the Potentate. I know he works very hard and donates tons of time and money to the effort. They do so many good things. Very proud of Gary.

I have always supported the Shriners as they do lots of great things. You should be proud!

I really am. I know he has lots of fun with them too. Which I feel he deserves but the work he does comes before the fun. I know my dad would have rather he be a Gideon as he was but everyone has to find what suits them in their own way.

COngrats! Ginny to your brother!!! that is great that he is in all three and his son followed in his foot steps...that is wonderful to have the gift of sharing and volunteering!

Thank you Connie. I have always been proud of both of my brothers. Gary has always had to excel in everything he did. He worked for one company for 37 years and never missed one sick day. My dad too did that.

Good morning to you Mel. A little not so busy today I hope. I will write my paycheck so that makes it better. I will be glad when the week is over for some reason. I have no plans for the weekend so don't know why. Give my sweet Mitchell a big hug and kiss please from Grandma Ginny

Have a good Wednesday.

It's been a pretty good day so far! The sunshine does help the spirits.

Big hugs and kisses will promptly be delivered at five o'clock this evening! It's the best part of my day!

Hi, Ginny. Sorry I haven't been around. Between work (they upgraded our computers and I've been in and out of training the last two weeks) and my husband, Mark, under the weather and not knowing what it is, and then Markie's car...I've just been crazed.

I'm with some of the others...I hate when my food touches other food on the plate--yuk! I have to have a separate plate for my rolls as I want it no where near my food and getting soggy or anything else.

Congrats to your brother.

I'm anxious to see how Mark's MRI comes out. It's that 17 years in a neurosurgeons office in me. Sorry. Don got hurt a couple of months ago at work. Landed on his shoulder. Has the C3-4 out. He was off work 2 weeks then 2 weeks at 4 hour days, then 2 at 6 hr and now back to 8 hr with no overtime. He has had therapy and does traction at home. I can tell you if Mark raises his hand over his head it is a pinched nerve. One good thing about cervical surgery it is outpatient or one overnight. They go thru the front so hardly any scar and you pretty much get immediate relief. Keep me posted. After this injury Don has decided to go on and retire Dec 10 instead of waiting till Dec 11. Of that I'm glad. Even tho I still have to work till Dec 11. He has worked hard for a lot of years and he deserves his time to be off and enjoy himself.

So glad they found the person resp. for Markies car. Hopefully the insurance will go on and do it's thing. We have a 92 Blazer that the grandkids get to drive their first year with a license. Not good for much but cheap to operate and not a deal if something happens to it.

I hate computer training. It is so boring. Hope your days start a quick improvement.

Good afternoon!! Ginny :sunny:
It is sunny here and I should be out and about...but, my siatic joint is giving me problems for the last two days (since I was pg for Gwendolyn it acts up about twice a year --and it always seems around the time of Halloween :confused3 --must be mental :lmao: ) and I'm sure the laying around I'm doing is not helping!!

We were suppose to start getting rain tomorrow but now not coming in until Friday morning and into Saturday!! Danny just found out he needs to work Friday so if chloe's mom gives me some extra money I may take them to a halloween party :confused3
depends on the weather and how much I feel like dealing with Ashton around other kids (although he new thing is roaring like a lion/dinosaur around other kids :confused3 )

Well have a great day!!! hope the sun comes out for you!!

Little ones are so funny the things they come up with. We have what some might call sun right now. They moved Andrews soccer match to tonite instead of tomorrow since it is supposed to be bad tomorrow. So that means football will go unless it it lightening. They have had to move it to a different field since most of the fields around here are so wet.

Here is what sun looks like.

We had a little sun yesterday, none today and don't know when we are supposed to see it again. (:

We have it so rarely that I've resorted to taking it's picture. That's bad. :rotfl2: They are talking sun again on Sunday and 56. I'll take it. Might be a good day to drive to see the inlaws and my mother. Yes I said my mother. I must be having an out of body experience.
