Raglan Road's fish & chips...genuine?

YES!!! I know where I'll be going then!
(wait, are fish and chips in Scotland like the English ones? - I know, stupid question, but hey, a crabcake in Maryland is NOTHING like one in New Jersey, and they're neighboring states)
The ones from Scotland reminded me of the ones from England.

Go and get some from Cooke's or Raglan Road. They are really good. And authentic.

I know we're necro-posting, but am I the only one that wanted to quote the OP and say "Nope, not genuine at all. I bit into the fish and it turned out it was, in fact, three striped ascots and an old Macy's holiday circular"

Good question! The difference is the fish we use - so we traditionally use haddock! But the batter and the chips are all the same. The fish and chip shop that has won the best in the uk a few years running is quite close to us! The cookes place in DS is pretty authentic :worship:
