The ones from Scotland reminded me of the ones from England.

Go and get some from Cooke's or Raglan Road. They are really good. And authentic.

Good question! The difference is the fish we use - so we traditionally use haddock! But the batter and the chips are all the same. The fish and chip shop that has won the best in the uk a few years running is quite close to us! The cookes place in DS is pretty authentic
