I know this has been on here before, but I thought it might help someone to see it again. I was still able to book the Radisson Resort at the Port in Cape Canaveral last night for $59. We're staying there May 10, then leaving for Western Carib on the 11th. They will let you park you car there and shuttle you over. To park at the port would cost us $56, so it's almost like getting a free night's stay with what we save on parking. I've heard some concern that the Radisson parking isn't as secure as parking at the port. But if you don't leave valuables in your vehicle....hey, that's why we have insurance!

To get the rate, use the promotional code "FALL" when booking. It's about 1/2 off the rack rate you'll get otherwise.

P.S. The Radisson also told me that I could park there if I was booked to stay following my cruise rather than before. They emailed me to say just drive over there the day of the cruise, then they would shuttle me over and pick me up when the cruise was over. Pretty considerate, I thought.

I was also able to get the $59 rate for our pre-stay on 8/2/02. I originally wanted one of the suites but they were sold out. We are holding six rooms for our group of 17. Can't beat that $59 rate. We stayed there in a suite on 2/22/02 but could not use the pool due to the horrible rain we had. Looking forward to spending a day by the pool before the cruise in August.

Thanks Stephmarty I just called and they quoted me the 59.00 rate. But I chose the in room jacuzzi for 99.00 . I can't wait.

stephmarty,

Thanks for the info. We booked a room at the Radisson months ago for $129.00 per night. After reading your post my DW went on-line, booked another room and canceled the "expensive" room.

You guys are great!:bounce:

Thanks for the information. Just went back into our reservation .. entered the code and the price went from 149 to 99 a night. Extra money will help. Also saw a few boards about being able to take your own soda/beer/drinks onboard. That will help out also. We will be heading out late this evening and staying at the Radisson on Friday May 3rd for our departure on the 4th. Again thanks for the information

The "FALL" discount was sold out for our cruise. Does anyone know of any other great discounts such as these in the July timeframe? Thanks
