You are NOT being a wimp! People who play down the misery of morning sickness have never suffered from it. Don't feel bad about feeling bad. You can't help it. I was sick with my son and my daughter, pretty much all the way through. With my daughter, I had to go out on disability. With my son, my 2nd trimester was the worst (weird, I know). I threw up a lot in the middle of the night with him, the entire last 6 months of the pregnancy - that's why I could still work during the day. With my daughter, I could hardly keep anything down - absolute misery. The Sea Bands didn't work at all for me. I lived on Coke Slurpees (do you have "7- Eleven" stores out there? That's where I got them.) Try some cola syrup over crushed ice. Don't worry about the caffeine; it's more important that you stay hydrated. You could even try Caffeine-Free Coke. Both of my babies were nice and big (DS was 8 lbs. 1 oz. and DD was 8 lbs. 7 oz.) even though I'm small (under 5'0"). So try to eat whatever you can get down, drink whatever you can get down (non-alcoholic, of course), don't worry, and rest, rest, rest! Good luck! I really feel for you.
