The search isn't working - so I turn to you for some information

The website isn't very informative - is there somewhere that has some in-depth information that I can see?

We're trying to figure out how it works, what you see, blah blah blah.

$1,800 - that's the price for the group as a whole correct????

We're trying to see if we can get 12 people together so we can do a private tour (7 hours of AWESOMENESS) I already convinced my Husband that we need to go on this tour

From what the website states$1800,I'm assuming thats not taxes included.So if you get a group of 12 together that comes out to$167 each plus the hard tix..But that price can go up.Thiere website is not updated everyday....

The tour is tailored to what the group wants to do.I guess if you want to see a house 4 times,thats what you will do..

But 7hrs of having the royal treatment at HHN,I donn't think I can put a price tag on it..

Your a AP holder so the hard tix wonn't be as bad..

Call the phone # on the website..From what I heard these book fast!!!!!

If they are openings left,I'm sure you will have no problem finding 10 others to do it with ya!!!Good luck..

yes, it is $1800 plus tax for an exclusive rip tour.

call the number if you have not heard back from them once you send the form in.

or you can just call and book it.


you will have a nice time on a tour.

Wow, I would just LOVE to do the private tour with a group that just wants to go through the houses again and again and again! We did the group RIP last year and loved it, but I just can't justify the cost this year with only going into each house one time...we'll save the $$ and do express. But if you have a group of 12, the cost isn't much more for the private so I would most definitely go for that!

I have a quick RIP tour question: Do they split the group up into 2 parties or more when going through the houses, or do all members go through as one long conga party? One night last year, I worked the front door at a haunted house at our local amusement park (Worlds of Fun) as a volunteer. We tried to limit groups to 6 or less when entering.

the RIP tour i booked is for the entire group to stay together for all the houses.
they will not be broken up.

even the eep line is held up when the tour guide comes through with a group.

you pay for the extra touch and you get it.
rip groups are never separated from each other.

for the shows, there are sections that are blocked off the rip tour groups.
last year for bill and teds, there were about 9 tour groups in that section.
best seats in the house....and you don't have to line up for it in the ep lane 30 minutes in advance....



last year i did a non peak night rip tour.
i loved it.

on the other nights i did the park just with the epp.
a few times i was right at the front of the line and was held back due to a tour coming through.

the tm's then held back a few minutes from letting the epp line go thru then

they alternate of allowing so many from the regular line and the epp line for entering the houses.

if you are with someone and the tm says, you need to stop, you will be allowed to proceed if you tell them you are with that person ahead of you.
sometimes they even ask the person ahead of you, is she with you??

So since we're already spending money we don't need to, why not do the Tour?!! ($150) Then I noticed the Private tour and though WHOA - 7 hours of AWESOME!!!!

I just need to sell it to 10 other people that we know :\

you can book the exclusive tour now and then get people to join you. you could create a thread with the date/ alternative date you want the tour and see who is interested.
you pay the money up front to vip tours and then have the others pay you

you don't have to have 12 people on the tour. you can have any number between 1 to 12 for the exclusive tour. just divide the total by the number that will be in your group for what portion each needs to pay.


you sign up for a tour and once it is paid in full you are locked in.
they do not include the hhn park ticket in the tour price. that is separate.

you or whoever is the group leader can let your tour guide be aware of what you want to do on the tour.

like a poster said above, do the houses 4 times each.
it is whatever you want it to be.


the 7 hour tour has a 45 minute break worked into it for eating, shopping, whatever you want for that break period.

you meet 30 minutes prior w/vip tours in their section of the studios before your tour begins. you'll be briefed with your guide and others in the group.

google rip tours and that will bring up the info.

if you send an email to vip tours, you should receive an email in return that explains the tours they offer and info that will help guide you.
they are very prompt in responding to all inquiries.

if you want to book an exclusive tour, check it out now as there are some black out dates.
if you don't know of 10 other people to create a tour with, make a thread and advertise for people to join you and share the expense.

btw, if you have the ap and do the 3 or 4 hour tours, it is $150, minus the 10% discount. that is a good deal still, with tax you are still looking for under 150$

Ileana, i reread your question and think i missed one of your questions.

if you take the rip tour or any vip tour at universal, it does not include the park ticket. you need the park ticket along with the rip tour if you take it.

Ap discounts are for the hhn tickets.
check the ap website for the numbers.
i know i got mine for $29.99 for the dates i am going.
prices go up for the dates after the 10th of oct.

there are no discounts on the epp.
you are looking at $70 + tax on those babies.

i know the prices......i bought epp for 3 nights for hhn and the rip tour.
it's not cheap........


you will have a lot of fun at hhn.
i am completely and totally addicted to it.

Crap - I didn't realize the tickets weren't included - ok now I have to factor that into the price
