I bought my Clarisonic Mia 2 at Sephora for $169. It came with 1 brush and a sample size cleanser. The mia 2 is on QVC for $124 and comes with 4 brushes. How can that be? Has anyone purchased a clarisonic from QVC? Is it the real Clarisonic?

While I haven't purchased that specific item yes the stuff form QVC is exactly what they say it is. The reason they can sell for 124 is they have better reach so sell more and do not have a ton of brick and mortar shops with employees. They pay their warehouse, pay for the air time (very little really since they have their own network) and then the hosts. Cheaper ways of getting the product to the customer equals cheaper products for the consumer as well. QVC also is like Wal-Mart in their negotiation tactics. They can tell suppliers give us the product for X we will sell it for Y and you will see your profit grown by Z. Sephora doesn't have the same numbers to back their pitches when negotiating prices.

When it comes to HSN and QVC it is one of those things where they sell in the US and to US customers so if they are using a name brand it has to be that item or you can easily disput it with your CC and they would be in hot water for false advertising. I would never 2nd guess something from them if they are saying the product is that exact brand. Now if they say similar to or like that's a different story but looking at the online advertisement it uses the Name brand as the item name so you are safe.

Important thing to remember: if you buy it now, you have 30 days from delivery to return it, no exceptions. If you can wait until September or October, they automatically assume it's a gift and give you until around 1/30/18. Of course, then you run the chance of the price increasing. June is QVC's birthday, so it's possible the price expires tonight.

I worked for a spa that sold Clarisonic. We (the employees) were able to purchase at cost. I believe it was something like $60 for the Mia and $100 for the regular one. It also came with spare brush heads. I can believe that price with QVC

I have worked at QVC for the past 11 years. Yes, it's the real deal, and they offer easy pay. Their bundles are actually very good values. As an employee, I get to go to a weekly sample sale, and I've bought two Clarisonic Mia's, one a few years ago that still works great, and the second about a month or so ago for my almost teen daughter. And, I just bought a Kitchen Aid mixer for $75! So, yes, real deal, great products, good customer service, and I'm happy that I work for them.

Not only is it the real thing, but they have a generous return policy. I've only had to return things once or twice (arrived broken), and it was easy-peasy. Some of their bundles are really good values. And I don't work for them--I have no dog in this fight.

Something else I've noticed is, sometimes their prices are low because they know a newer, improved model is coming in a couple months. So, they clear out their current inventory. The newer model might come in new colors or have an extra feature--it's not necessarily a huge improvement, just newer. But it will cause the older style to go even cheaper.

Love qvc... 15 years worth of shopping. It's the real deal... and some of the friendliest customer service around!

I got my mom the Mia 2 when it was the Today's Special Value around Christmas. Yes it's very much the real deal, they can offer a lower price on things because they buy in such high volumes that they pass the bulk discount on. The US network reaches something like 1 million people, you'll hear ridiculous numbers of quantities of things they bring in for a single day, like 100000 and they'll sell out.
