Maybe I'm just a sick individual but I have daydreams of not going to dental school, but instead just getting a job at Disney. My wife would kill me of course but I dream about it all the time. If you quit your dayjob to work at Disney, what job would you do and where at Disney?

I would work anywhere, but I think I'd like working in a resort at the World being the "Check In" person. That way you get to see everyone way excited to be there every day!

I would love to be a character like Tigger and act funny. We just came back last night, and I must have told my husband ten times that I would love to move to florida and be a character in one of the parks and act silly and no one would know it was me. To make kids happy everyday would be awesome!

We are halfway there we bought a home there. I am still thinking about moving though.

I think about it once in awhile actually. I'm sick and tired of the endless winters up here in the North. It's very tempting...

I have retail experience so I would probably be best at one of the shops in the parks. I can ring purchases like a champion after several Christmases working at a mall store. :)

you're lucky mj, my wife is too afraid of the hurricanes to move to Florida. :(
We are thinking about renting the house for now. Hubby wants to wait a few years before moving. The hurricanes dont bother me I was at WDW for the first one last year and while it wasnt the best time i had in my life you can have bad weather in any part of the country.

I have got family that lives in Altamont Springs as it is and I have a cousin that is in the art department and has been for 25 years. Would I move to the area? In a New York second!! Who wouldn't want a job that they know they could have the chance to make people's dreams come true everyday? As far as what would I want to do? I would love to work at Mission Space because I am intrigued by NASA and space flight. I would also like to work at Journey into Imagination because that place is all about using your thoughts to come up with new ideas. I love that!! :sunny: :cool1:

Years ago people i worked with asked me if i would have liked to work at
Disney .They knew my second occupation was a family entertainer as a magician and clown. ::MickeyMo

If I were to work for Disney, I'd want to work in the back offices - in operations - not in the parks itself.

I dont need to work for Disney. Infact i would prefer not to. I just want to live in the area.

I recently got my Real Estate license,so I would LOVE to get a job being a DVC guide. I actually saw a position open for it on the Disney careers site, but you have to have 3 years exp. So in 3 years I will be watching that site like a mad man.

I think it would be interesting to be a tour guide for one of the tours or to work in guest relations...I like problem solving and resolving conflicts.

My husband said his dream job would be a skipper on Jungle Cruise! Haha!

I would enjoying being a character...not a face one as I'm not comfortable with that part, but being behind a mask I'd have fun. I do it all the time in my Stormtrooper armor, so this, to me, would be no different.

I hear you. Sometimes I want to leave everyone and everything behind here in Tennessee and go live in FL and work at WDW :)

My db and I tell our wives when we retire were moving to florida and working for disney. I want to be in the parks or landscape. He wants to dive the trains. :rotfl2:

I would love to operate the Jungle Cruise. Crack jokes all day long. I'd also be pretty happy as a concierge at a resort or working at the wedding pavillion or as a disney wedding planner!

I can't even imagine how many people are dying for that job! :earseek:

I don't think I would want to work there... just live there and be on permanent holiday!

Seriously, I don't think I could work there because I'd come to view it as 'work', and I love going on Holiday there... but I would love to be there all the time...
