Quickest way from MK to Poly?

Hi. I would like to know which is the quickest way from Magic Kingdom to the Polynesian resort? I am planning on maybe going back to our room after our character breakfast in the Magic Kingdom, so i doubt there will be any lines going back.

Should we take the ferry boat or the monorail?

If the ferry has no wait, how long would it take?
How long does the monorail take?

I think the monorail is quicker, but neither of them take all that long and personally, the boat is more scenic. Really, though, the Poly is quite close and either way will get you there pretty quick.

If you take the Monorail it will stop at the Contemporary and the TTC before arriving at the Polynesian. If you take the boat it will stop at the Grand Floridian and then arrive at the Polynesian. Personally I think the Monorail is faster because if you miss it another one should be arriving no more then 5 minutes later.

The Ferry and the Boat are 2 DIFFERENT boats. The Ferry takes you to the TTC, the Boat takes you first to the GF and then the Poly.

Make sure you get on the RESORT monorail to get to the Poly, if you get on the EXPRESS you will have to walk over from the TTC. The EXPRESS might be faster depending on what bldg you are in at the Poly

I think the monorail is quicker, only because monorails seem to arrive more quickly than the boats. If you aren't in a hurry, the boat is relaxing.

The ferry to the TTC takes only 5 minutes to cross Seven Seas Lagoon. Especially if you're in one of the Eastern longhouses, it's a great option.

And in the morning a return trip to the TTC will be almost empty.

One of the many things to love about the Polynesian....all the transportation options! I love them all.
