Quickest Route from Pop to Japan Epcot?

Hello all,


What would be the best route via Disney transportation from Pop Century to Epcots world show case (Japan)?

Pop Century bus all the way to Epcot entering at Future World or Pop to MGM and then taking the boat to World Show case?

How long do you think the preferred method would take from start to finish?

Option 1
Wait for bus 10 minutes
Bus to MGM 6 minutes
Walk to boat 4 minutes
Wait for boat 10 minutes
Boat to Epcot 30 minutes (walking will be about 25 minutes)
Walk to Japan 10 minutes (assuming no line at IG)
Total 70 minutes

Option 2
Wait for Bus 10 minutes
Bus to Epcot 13 minutes
Walk to Japan 25 minutes (assuming small line at main gate)
Total 48 minutes

I agree with the previous poster that the bus from your resort to Epcot is the best and fastest way. The only way I would suggest the Friendship boat from the Disney Studios would be if you were planning on being at the Studios and then going to Japan in Epcot.
FYI you can walk from the Epcot International Gateway to the Disney Studios in maybe 25-30 minutes. The boats take longer because they stop along the route at the Beach/Yacht Clubs, Boardwalk, and Swan/Dolphin.
But the boat is a nice relaxing ride after doing so much walking.

I was reading on another board last night and came across the link to "ourlaughingplace.com" what a great site! However ed, your times were right on!

I think this is for this evening I will just plan on driving our own car, that will give us more down time during our afternoon break.

It is funny how you really don't realize how much time in spend in the transportation!
