The things we liked: the setting, the grounds, the lobby, the staff, the dedication to the theme, the pool (we only got to the main one), and the boat transportation.
Dislikes: smallest DVC bathroom we've ever experienced (no room for a trash can), Roaring Forks (small, we can deal with, but the staff seemed overwhelmed and willing to share their grievances), furniture was a bit worse for wear, and the TV cabinet for the new flat screen TV's does not have a slide out base so TV watching from the studio sofa is impossible. I was trying to make a good impression on my guest (my big sis) but in the end, VWL didn't deliver.
Oh, and on our last night on our way back to our room we witnessed a group of 6-8 adults smoking and drinking in the villa hot tub. They laughed and waved (it was about 11:00 after a 10:00 MK closing). Gross...have a good time fellow DVC'ers, but please, no smoking in the pool or hot tub. Please?

). We were noticing the size of the shower in the 1 bed to be smaller than VWLs 1 bed shower. And also the master bedroom is smaller than VWLs. Not that it bothers us enough to not go back, just observations we made. Each resort is unique in its own way. I never thought I would like the dark decor of VWL, but actually love it.
