This was a trip to celebrate my parent's 40th wedding anniversary. There were 10 people in all, including a 4 year old and a 1 year old.
Left NEPA on Hooters flight at 8 AM. Great direct flight, smooth and a breakfast sandwich for a snack! 1 year old slept for about 1/2 the flight, which was great. Arrived on time at MCO and stood about 20 minutes in Magical express line. Then waited about another 20 minutes for a bus. Some members of our party start to get cranky at this point because it is approaching lunch time. Arrive at CBR to a mass of people checking in for the marathon. The line was actually out the door. It did move rather quickly, though. We had booked our rooms in August and requested Aruba or Jamaica, 1st floor, two rooms connecting. The first rooms they offerd us were Trinidad South, # 38, 2nd floor. No, Thanks!!! It was the farthest building from everything. We explained the situation and they gave us Trinidad North, #33, first floor, two rooms connecting, with the third room around the corner. Perfect!! We were steps away from the bus stop and a very short walk to the food court. Our rooms were ready so we had bell services take us to our rooms and then we were off to the food court for lunch. Our rooms were clean and the resort was great. Food court had lots of options to please 10 different people with different tastes. By the time we got back to our rooms, our luggage was there!!! I would definately use Magical Expres again.
Over the next 7 days, we hit all the parks 2 and 3 times and hit most of the rides with little or not wait. we went to Extra Magic Hours on Sunday night, and hit the big rides 2 and 3 times. Trip highlights included Soarin', Tower of Terror, rockin roller coaster, Fantasmic, and Wishes. We also made it over to Downtown DIsney and the Boardwalk.
Weather was cold the first 3 days, we wore winter coats at night. Next three days were high 70's, we even swam!!
We were all on the dining plan, and let me tell you, it is the best deal out there!!!! We ate so much food and we didn't have one bad thing. for 10 people to not complain about anything all week is amazing!!!! Check the food boards, I'll be posting a more detailed review of the food there!
All in all, it was a great trip. Thanks to everyone on the DIS Boards for all your advice. It really made this trip magical for everyone.
