I've been to WDW several times, but never in December. It's just me and a friend - we are so excited! I'm just curious as to what kinda of weather, crowds, etc. we can expect? We know since it's a short trip, we won't be able to do everything. We already have tickets to Mickey's Christmas Party, and plan to do a lot of shopping and resort hopping. In any case, can anyone give me an idea on what to expect? TIA!

We went around that time period last year and found the crowds to be great. Not empty, but no big waits either (except for Soarin). We found EPCOT the hardest to get on rides. You definitely have to get there early to ride w/out big waits. On the other hand, we would show up at MK any time of the day and have very little wait for any ride.

Weather-expect anything. One day we were in t-shirts the next we were in long sleeves and hoodies, the next day long-sleeves in the morning and bundled up that night. We found it to be cool to mild during the day and cold enough at night that while you wouldn't need a winter coat, layers were definitely nice. My kids did fine at night with sweatshirts under hoodies.

We had a ball at MVMCP. The night we went everything but Space was a walk on. The kids rode Goofy's Barnstormer something like 5 times in row without getting off. We rode splash with no wait at all. We had a great time that night. Just getting to ride all the rides with no wait was worth the price of admission.
