Quick Service Dining w/ kids???

Ok I have only been reading all these threads forever, and was just catching up on this one....has anyone ever asked.....if you have a child's dining plan and they wanted to order from adult menu could you pay the difference from the child's meal to the adult meal on the menu? So the child's meal is $4.49 and the adult one is $7.98 so can you pay the difference of $3.49 OOP?

We are having a hard time finding something from CS places that our kids will like. Especially At MK and Epcot. I am thinking we will have to get our CS kids meals somewhere with chicken nuggets/hot dog, then go elsewhere for the adults. I assume it is okay to get their meal somewhere (a kids CS), then get our meal (Adult CS) at a different location. Hopefully eat at the same place. My kids must the the only ones who dont eat Chicken Legs and Burgers.

No, you can't use a dining credit plus partial cash payment. You can pay for a single meal either with the dining credit, or with cash.

I have a question, on how the receipt shows up for your meals left.
Does it say for example, 2 Adult TS, 2 Adult CS, 2 Child TS, 2 Kids CS?

I am having troubles on finding things at CS loacations that the kids will like on the kids menu (or adult menu). What happens if we get our son a CS meal at CHH, then get our selves a lunch at Peco Bills and all eat at Pecco Bills. We will be ordering at different times, will we still get our son a kids meak, then us an adult meal?

It is against the policy of Walt Disney World for you to use credits for which you paid a child's price to purchase a meal from the regular menu, unless the restaurant has no child's menu. The DIS does not permit discussion ways to violate Disney's clearly stated rules. Any such discussion will be deleted from the boards.

My big question is hubby and I will be apart a couple of times-is there an easy way to keep track of how many adult and how many kids meals are remaining? I think he will remember to order the kids a kids meal but I'm not sure-can I have remaining credits(adult vs child) checked at the hotel or do I just have to take his word for it?

Yes, you can ask the conceirge (sp?) at your hotel for a print out of dining credits used.

You do not need to worry about this at all. When your husband orders a CS meal for anyone in your party, they will only give him whatever configuration is on your Key to the world card that holds your tickets, room and dining plan. If you have 2 adults and 2 kids, he will be allowed to order a meal for for himself and the kids, no problem. They will give him a reciept that states your CS balance and all the credits are pooled together.

If you have 2 adults and 2 kids, he will be allowed to order a meal for for himself and the kids, no problem.

If your KTTW card shows 2A, 2C he will be allowed to order up to 2 adults meals at that CS restaurant.
