Quick Service Dessert/Drink Substitution Question

Please bear with me, I am having trouble keeping up with the dining plan in general when it comes to the quick service options (we've only ever done the plan once and it was Deluxe).

I am wondering if this scenario would work, specifically at Boardwalk Bakery. If we use a QS credit to get a sandwich or a salad for dinner, since we have the refillable mugs with the plan, can we use the drink portion and substitute for a snack- which at the Bakery includes croissants and other breakfasty items? Similarly, can we skip dessert and trade dessert for a snack? Finally, is there a limit to how many substitutions we can do in one transaction; i.e., can one person trade both the drink and the dessert for two snacks in one transaction, or is the substituting limited to one per meal?

This is one of the new things specifically spelled out in the brochure, so exchanging the drink/dessert entitlement to a snack should be no problem. And you SHOULD be able to do both, but there have been reports of some places only letting you do one or the other. You'll just have to go and try it and then let us know if it worked.

Thank you SO much! I did read the brochure and found this area to be a bit nebulous . But we can trade the drink and/or dessert for any of the bakery snack items such as croissants? It would make for very easy breakfasts the next day!

As long as the croissants have a snack symbol next to them, you should be good to go.
