Hi ALL,

I will be in Disney in July.

This is the first time I'm getting the QS Dining Plan. DD's are 4 & 6.

Any suggestions for good place to eat at all parks?

It depends on what kinds of food you and you family like. For pretty middle of the road tastes:

MK: Cosmic Rays
Epcot: Sunshine Seasons
AK: Flame Tree

In Epcot, there are a lot of options in WS. Some of my favorites are the Kringla (Norway) and Patisserie (France). I've also heard good things about the fish & chips in the UK.

We did the counter service plan this past December and really loved it! We found a lot of variety by doing our homework ahead of time :thumbsup2
MK- Cosmic Rays, Columbia Harbor House
Epcot (our favorite park for CS meals)- Yorkshire Fish Shop (UK), Tangierine Cafe (Morocco), Boulangerie Patisserie (France), Katsura Grill (Japan)
DHS-Starring Rolls (great for breakfast), Pizza Planet
AK- Flametree BBQ, Kusafiri coffee shop (great stop for a yummy snack!)
Downtown Disney- Earl of Sandwich, Wolfgang Puck Express (very large portions)

Epcot: Before we went to Sunshine Seasons, I thought- why would anyone eat there with the whole world (showcase) to choose from. But, we ended up being there & being hungry and there were a lot of choices. The food was good. DH & I split a sandwich and a piece of blueberry cheesecake which were very good. We got some desserts from the Patisserie in France that were really good. We got chicken tacos that were good in Mexico.

Magic Kingdom: We ate at Main Street Bakery which was a very good use of a snack credit. Who doesn't like giant pieces of chocolate cake. They also sold sandwiches which looked really good but we didn't try them. We ate at Cosmic Ray and my Philly steak & cheese sandwich was big enough to share.

DTD Wolfgang Puck Express was great. Our kids liked the spaghetti. We liked the bacon wrapped meatloaf.

We all liked the food court at Pop. There were lots of choices and we all liked the Mickey waffles for breakfast.

I'm glad the previous poster mentioned Main St Bakery! I forgot all about that one. We just discovered it on our last trip and had breakfast there a few times along with snacks through out our days. Every thing was REALLY good! Definitely try the ice cream sandwich, they put 3 huge scoops between 2 very big cookies :goodvibes

I wrote a DR on our QSDP. We ate at many locations, both inside, and outside the parks.

Click on link in my siggy to read if you're interested.

It's been a couple years since our last trip, so I am not crazy about losing the extra snack credit on QSDP. If nothing else, we could get water or soft drinks in the parks that way. Still, we usually had extras to use at DTD on our last day.

Previous posters gave good advice. Our choices follow...
MK - We love Columbia Harbor House and Cosmic Rays.
Epcot - Sunshine Seasons (lots of choices, almost all of them good), Kringla Og, Tangerine Cafe (really anything in WS is O.K. if you like that particular cuisine)
AK - Flame Tree, or Pizzafari if just regular pizza is O.K. (we liked it)
DHS - not as many choices here for us, but you can have pizza here (again) or burgers and fries at several locations (nothing special, but not bad, either). We always feel like DHS could use some more creative choices than the standard American fast-food fare, but we love this park and are willing to have "mundane" food choices compared to the other three parks.
DTD - Wolfgang Puck Express is very good, and we love Earl of Sandwich (which is inexpensive and thus not a "great" QSDP value, but the food is worth it).

Have a great trip...and don't forget to hunt down a few special snacks. Dole whips in MK and maybe a trip to POFQ for beignets (I probably butchered that spelling again).

We have been on the QSDP for the last 3 yrs and are upgrading to the regular DDP this year.
Our favs from eating at the parks on the QS are
at magic kingdom : Pecos Bills, Cosmic Ray, Pinnochio Village haus
Epcot: Morocco, mexico, and sunshine seasons (this one is always crowded but lots of choices)
HS: ABC commisary (hubby loves the curry chicken bowl), and starring rolls
AK: Yak and yeti take out (orange chicken YUMMY) and tamu tamu (milkshakes :) )
our most favs are at DTD: Wolf gang Puck express (AWESOME spaghetti and meatballs and pizza) and Pollo Campero (great chicken and organic snacks )

To look at menus search here on the DIS under dining and you can see the menus to all the different QS dining locations. That is how we have always made our decisions on where to eat.

Have a magical trip :wizard:

If you are planning to eat multiple character meals or buffet dinners during your trip, the dining plan can be very cost effective. Dinner at Akershus alone is $23 per child – almost twice the cost of one day of the [Standard] Dining Plan. :grouphug: Some of us only get to Walt Disney World once every three or four years, and the opportunity to eat with the characters is a major highlight of the trip, but the cost to do so out-of-pocket is becoming prohibitive. :cloud9:

The kids will likely enjoy Cosmic Rays in the MK. Make sure you sit downstairs so you can see Sonny Eclipse. He's and anamatronic interplanetary lounge singer :)

With a 4 and a 6 year old I am guessing pizza is a must. :) Pizzafari in AK is good. If the adults on the trip are not into pizza they have a really good sandwich and a good entree salad.
