We have a party that is coming with us and they have a 200 balance to the hotel. Do they pay at check-in or at check-out they have a room only reservation

You pay for your room at check in. You pay for everything else at check out unless you have a lot. Then they will take it out when you reach certain limits based on the resort you are staying at.
