Quick Question

HI! know that there is a December cancellation thread, and that you are not supposed to ask an ADR there, but do we have an area that it is acceptable to ask if someone is cancelling? I usually manage securing my ADR's because I book so far out, and if I miss on, well there is always a next time. BUT: this is a quick trip and I if possible I would like BOG dinner on a night we plan on the MK. DO we have a request thread?

I already managed to break the rule on the December cancel thread, and was a mess making the exchange. It was successful but no thanks to me! The woman helped me make it work.

If someone is going to cancel, they'll post in the cancellation thread. Why would they go looking for someone? Why would a request ever make sense?

Let me compare it to DVC point rentals. Only owners with points for rent are allowed. There's another website that allows requests. They have over 18,000 request threads, and 44 offers.

Requests are pointless and, if any are actually successful, unfair to everyone else patiently waiting.

That is why I asked. I have always made my ADR's and been happy with what I got. I did not always get everyting I was looking for, but was happy nonetheless. I was not sure if there was a request thread and if so, how it worked.
