Is it just a Hi I'll give you a good pin for any old cheap pin thing or is she actually trading from a private collection of hers and it matters what she gives you and what you have on to trade?

The reason I ask is the first time I thought it was the former and just put on a bunch of cheap pins but got disconnected, now I'm thinking perhaps I was wrong. Need Enlightenment

Well like any trade with any player even though they are cast they want you to trade a pin that in no longer buyable. Any of the weekend series pins or limmited quest pins should be ok. It is allways a good idea to buy a few extra every weakend to have a few on hand. You don't have to be wearing the pin, the pins they are offering are the pins they are wearing, so select your choice from that. Sometimes a pin they are offering may be limited and run out before the event ends. These events are famous for DC and difficult line entry so limit the chit chat get right to the trade and accept.

I just traded her Aladdin. I don't think staff cares unless they specifically say. Why should they?

Being a Californian and in love with DCA, I stocked up my DCA pins just to use for events like these. Kinda like my signature item or something... :thumbsup2

Because when VMK first did trade events, Phinny was adamant that we
MUST trade pins of value. She would not accept the 25 credit pins, or
even theme park quest pins. They had to be the 500 credit pins.

So I trade the pins sold in the Emporium specials every pin trading event
because I want to expedite the trade as fast as possible for me and
for the players behind me. :)

I traded Summit Plummit...for a HM pin...I was so close to DCing and just in case I didn't want her to have to explain I needed a more expensive pin. BUT...I think with all the dcing she felt bad and was just trading as fast as possible.
