Hello,
I just put donw a deposit at SSR last Friday. I am buying a 150 point contract and a 75 point contract. I called and made my first reservation yesterday and was told that I had 90 point remaining for this year. If I have multiple contracts with the same use year will they combine the points like that or did they set it up as one contract for 225? I know this is a question for my guide but he has been out for the last couple days.

Thanks

yes - member services will combine your points - as long as the use year is the same and the RESORT is the same.

Welcome Home!

If the contracts are for the same use year, you will have a MASTER contract and and add-on contract, sharing the same contract number and ending in .001 for the first add-on, .oo2 for the second and so on.

Even if the contracts are for different resorts, but share the use year, MS will give you a 'total' amount when listing available points. This total is used for banking calculations as well. But if you ask, MS can open your account in a more detailed mode and give you the number of points in each contract.

In my case for my December UY contract, I own at OKW, SSR (4 add-ons) and BCW. They give me a 'total' that combines these three resorts, but if I ask, they can give me my individual balances. In my case this helped with a late banking, since my total points were large enough that at the 25% window, I was able to fully bank a smaller account.

Hope this helps!

ETA: Spicey cat and I posted at the same time, but they do combine totals for DIFFERENT resorts that share the same use year!

Congratulations & Welcome Home!

HAPPY "MAGICAL" VACATIONING,
