Quick observations from last 5 days

We are going the first week in August (Not my idea) and this is my first experience with FP+. This trip is all about our two DGDs, ages 22 Mos and 4 YO. The older one is a true Disney Princess and I am using MDE to reserve FP+ times for character interactions. I knew A&E would be popular, but the only times available are after 9:00PM!
This presents two problems; The girls are not used to such a late night and this means we cannot utilyze FP earlier in the day because we have not used the three we reserved.
I would NEVER go in early August except to be with our girls, so I hope that FP+ doesn't put a damper on an otherwise great trip.

I hope they continue to tweak the system and these glitches are gone by the time you go. The 4th FP+ is not useful when crowds are low anyway. When they are high tree may be a benefit.

We had no snow days to make up and our kids are still in school until the end of this week.

Same here in Upstate NY. Some of our districts go into next week as well, and some will go into next week to make up snow days.

Wow, that seems really late In Michigan, my relatives have an extra week of snow days.

In Upstate NY, many districts don't start until the Monday after Labor Day, so they start a little later as a result.

Just in case anyone was interested, schools up here in Maine (at least my area) had finals this week, so tomorrow is the last day!
