Whispering Canyon Cafe or Grand Floridian Cafe? Quality wise. We are thinking about cancelling WCC and picking up GFC. Good choice?

Well, I do love the WL, and I have no problem whatsoever with WCC -- for quality, I'd perfer GFC. I think the WCC is fun and wild and crazy but the food is not the best available. My experience, GFC has always given me a delicious meal. Hope that helps!

Grand Floridian Cafe has much better food than Whispering Canyon, but as pp said, it is a very different experience. GFC is a pleasant meal in a quiet restaurant. WCC is a noisy place with lots going on and lots of fun if you have kids.

I agree, if you want loud and fun WC. If you want a good quiet meal GFC

On our last trip we went to the GFC and had a really nice meal there. It was a pleasant delight. I never did WCC but I imagine it is a very different experience; thus I'd suggest to think about what kind of atmosphere you want.

I just cancelled a LeCellier lunch to do a Grand FL Cafe lunch!


It's just so much more the ambiance I want for a ladies lunch (meeting a friend there) and you can't beat THIS for dessert:

Thanks Everyone! We cancelled WCC and booked GFC for our 1st night. After a 13 hour drive, I think a relaxing evening sounds better then a loud crazy night. And the reviews I have seen on GFC are sooooooo much better then WCC. I think we will be really happy with this choice. AND steak on the kids meal is always a plus!
