QUICK!!! DD Lost 1st TOOTH! Need Disney Themed Ideas!!!

DD LOST 1st TOOTH! Need ideas/help...
We are leaving on Friday for WDW -- my dd5 has had a wiggly tooth all week -- I told her to not play with it and if it fell out at WDW that Tinkerbell would be sure to tell the Tooth Fairy to pay her a visit even though we were on vacation! However, IT FELL OUT TODAY! This is my first Lost Tooth experience as a mom and seeing as though we're on our way to Disney in "three sleeps" does anyone have any cute and quick ideas of how to tie this in? I do believe I have one Disney Dollar I could include in the money the tooth fairy will leave her.... Also, what did/does everyone do with the tooth? I know some people put it under their pillow. I always put it in a glass of water at my bedside. Wierd huh? And what do you REALLY do with the tooth "AFTER" the tooth fairy takes it?

Geesh, could this week get any more emotional, my first child loses her first tooth -- a trip to WDW and the day we get home is her preschool graduation! 100% chance of precipitation (from my eyes) -- by the time next week is over!

My dd lost HER first tooth while we were visiting Disney too! Lemme tell ya, it was a darn good thing Tinkerbelle was around to advise the tooth fairy we were there. My dd was VERY worried because we were not home that we couldn't receive the royal treatment!

My dd put the tooth under her pillow and woke up to find one dollar there! It was amazing too - she SWEARS she saw the tooth fairy in a long blue gown.

Who knows, maybe Tink will leave your daughter a note about how her friend the Tooth Fairy told her about the event when you are in Disney!

I keep all sorts of interesting items in my jewelry box. There is a hidden compartment no one checks.

I keep all their teeth in an envelope marked with the day the tooth fell out. I think Disney Dollars are a great idea! (Does she have any other loose ones? My DS always loses one, and then will lose another one within a day or two. DD takes forever between teeth, though.)

She actually does have another tooth that has been loose for a LONG time... It actually seemed to stop wiggling for awhile too -- so who knows... I'll have to check it and see what that one's doing! I'm just still kind of stunned! I didn't know kids lost teeth at age 5!

I use glitter. I put some on the window sill and then over towards my child's bed. I would tell them that the tooth fairy left some pixie dust. DS would get a baggie and save it!

DS got his first tooth at 4 months, and lost his first tooth at 5.5 years. DD got her first tooth at 11 months, and lost her first tooth at 7 years! The dentist told me that both are normal.

Tinkerbelle helped her cousin when my DD lost a tooth at WDW. She brought her a Tink magnetic picture frame (bought hastily at the resort gift shop! Thank goodness they had something!) It's still hanging on our fridge, years later.

Since you're not there yet, I like the Disney Dollar idea.

I ran across some Disney pins for a great price awhile back, and bought several. Tooth Fairy leaves a little bit of money and a pin!

Loved reading all the ideas and memories here! Well, I got dd5 a small round wooden box with a cover (from a craft store) -- and let her paint and decorate it up as her tooth fairy box. We made a big deal out of it and everyone stayed up late waiting for it to dry! Finally, we made a wish and put the tooth in the box -- on her bed but not under the pillow -- it was dry but still a bit sticky... Well, about a 1/2 hour later, baby sister (21 months) comes downstairs wide awake. I think nothing of it until I go to put her back in bed (in same room as dd5) to discover the tooth fairy box is open and overturned in the middle of the room -- no tooth to be found! I was devastated! Now, we're trying to search the entire room without waking anyone up -- b/c what if she or one of her siblings found it in the morning? NO LUCK! I guess the tooth fairy really DID take it! Well, thankfully, she ended up leaving a cute card with a computer printed picture of herself on it -- with a pink dress, just like dd5 thought she'd have! Inside the note, the tooth fairy told us to say "Hi" to her cousin Tinkerbell on our upcoming trip (and to all Tink's friends) -- (good idea guys!!!!) She got a kick out of that! And she left a 'magic' Disney Dollar and a REAL $5 -- dh thought we should have given her $10! He's got four kids -- nutcase! lol...
Anyway, she also left some yummy tasting pixie dust (pink cookie/cake sprinkles) -- that dd just HAD to taste! And of course, she's not saddened one bit that her tooth is REALLY lost, b/c the tooth fairy took it -- as far as she's concerned! I just hope she's not mad when she gets older when she learns we didn't get to save it! Thanks for all the cute ideas! She was really excited and just loved it! She loves telling everyone about the whole ordeal!!!!
