Quick BAG DROP question (Manchester Airport)

We've decided that we will try to use the OLCI this year (we want to try and secure our preferred seats if we can). So, we will need to use the Bag Drop facility. So, is bag drop just one of the regular Virgin check-in desks designated as the drop bag line or is there an actual bag-drop section of the airport which all airlines use somewhere in the airport?

Its usually the PE/Bag drop mixed line. Just goto the VA desks it is all together.

I've done online checking for years and they have always made us join the normal queue for Economy, even though I tell them i've checked in online. Must be doing something wrong.

I will confirm on wednesday but we have always gone to PE line. Although this time we are flying PE I will note the bag drop line.

We did online check in last time and were made to join the normal economy line

Always check in on line and have always been made to queue in the economy line. Not sure I've actually tried to join the PE line though, didn't know you could. Might try that in August.
