When I learned of this I called DDE and they confirmed that DVC doesn't give the voucher only a confirmation number. She then went on to tell me that when we arrive and get our AP's we can call DDE directly on the first weekday to get a temporary DDE card. In our case let's say we got our APs' on Sunday, Monday morning we call DDE and they will have our temp DDE cards ready by 5:30 that evening at Epcot.
Hope this helps and doesn't cause more confusion. Remember just get sprinkled with a littleand all will be

Daname said:When you get the vouchers how do you go about getting the DDE? Can you purchase the DDE card as a voucher and have that activate at the same time as the annual pass? or can you purchase the DDE when you arrive at WDW ? Thanks for any help

I ordered a PAP from member services on Wednesday with the express shipping option. Today I received a Fedex envelope with a green credit card sized exchange voucher. The voucher has a number on the back that can be used to purchase the DDE card.

I was not aware that there were blackout dates on the AP. It looks like in 06, pretty much the entire summer, and the holidays.
We don't usually go during any of those times, but I had no idea there were blackout dates with the AP! Am I a dope?!? (If I am, you can tell me nicely!)![]()

JohnNJ said:I ordered a PAP from member services yesterday and asked what I would get in the mail. I was told I would receive a voucher. I asked for an order confirmation number and couldn't get one. Why would I get a confirmation number for the pass? I paid for express shipping so I hope this info is incorrect.
ETA: I just realized that most likely the confirmation number is for someone using the "will call" option when ordering.
