We have been several times in late Oct or Nov and didn’t have much of a problem. We have gone in July or August the last 3 years and been eaten alive every time. No more summer trips for us. Absolutely love this resort but I am miserable for a few days with all the bites.

What I don’t understand about VB noseeums is that I’ve only experienced these and heard of them at Disney’s resort. Friends of ours rent a beach house every summer on the island elsewhere and never experience them. Wonder if its something specific to this resort or not treating them w/chem spray or this location…
