I have a couple of questions for everyone who has stayed at the Ft. Wilderness before who bought the Park Hopper tickets with their MYW package. First, I wanted to know where did your tickets get sent to?? Did they send them to your house through the mail or did you have to pick them up during check in at the Fort Wilderness Campground? This will be my first trip to the Fort. I called the 407-w-disney twice and talked to 2 diff. people and they both said different things. One said they mail me the tickets and the other said I pick them up at the Fort. So I am really confused. Also, my parents are traveling in their motorhome following us, i requested to have them at a site next to ours but they said it was no guarantee. Have any of you traveled with other parties and requested sites by one another? And if so did you get it? How good is Disney about honoring this request? Also my parents haven't ordered their MYW park hopper passes yet, and they wanted to know if they waited to get them when they arrive do they purchase them at the Fort or at the gate at one of the parks or where do they do this. And if they get them ahead of time and didn't get to go and couldn't use them are they able to save them for another time or are they good for that time frame only? And for my last question (I'm sorry for so many, for those of you who are still reading my post) when i get my park hopper passes are they going to have everones name on each one? I have been to WDW one time and when I went a few years ago I got a pink credit card looking pass with tinker bell on it and it had my name on mine and my husbands name on his. Do they still do this?? THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR ANYONE WHO CAN HELP ME WITH THESE QUESTIONS!!!!!!!!!:)

I don't know the answer to most of your questions, but getting your sites together can happen but it depends on the season, if it's not a busy one, etc. I think they do try to get people where they want to go; you can try to fax them 3 days ahead of time to remind them (someone asked how to do this a few posts down).

If you go to the first page of Disboards I believe they have an area linked at the top that will take you to ticket options and when you have to start using them after you buy them.

It's been awhile since I bought a "package visit" but, your park passes used to be part of your "room key". We always buy our park tickets from ticketmania.
Our last stay our best friends followed us down in their motorhome and we had "linked" reservations, but our sites were in the same loop, but five sites apart. Our son came down for the second week and got the site right next to us.

Ticket answers:

If you order tickets as part of the MYW package, then you will get them when you check in. They will be incorporated on your "room key", which is also used for charging privileges during your stay. They don't do the Tinker Bell cards anymore -- they're constantly changing them. But you do still get a card.

If you wait to buy park tickets when you arrive, then you can buy them from the guest services desk at the Fort, as well as any other Guest Services location at any other resort. And, they're also available at the gate at all of the parks.

If you would like to order them ahead of time, you can go here: Ticket Orders. You can have them sent to your home, or have them waiting at Will Call for you at the parks!

You can choose to add the "No Expiration" option to the tickets so that they will never expire. If you don't add that option, then they will expire 14 days from their first use.

Hope this helps!! :goodvibes

Let me see if I can help, first on the Ticket questions.

MYW tickets are available for sale through the mail before you arrive or you may purchase your tickets at WDW. They are available for sale at the FW front desk and at Gst Services at PH. You can also purchase them at the entrance to any of the parks. You have several options to think about.

1. Often when you purchase WDW tickets prior to your arrival and have them sent via the mail you get a discount.
2. Do you want the park hopper option? Will you be entering more then one park on the same day? If so there is an additional charge for this.
3. Do you want them to have no expiration date? I like this option and think it is worth the additional price because ticket prices go up every year.
4. How many parks do you want to include? Do you just want the 4 theme parks or do you want to add PI and the water parks.
5. Finally how many days to you want to purchase for entry.

Each ticket will not have everyones name on each individual ticket. They have started putting individual names on each ticket and when you enter the park you also are required to do a finger scan each time.
You might want to go to this website where tickets are explained in more detail: http://www.mousesavers.com/wdwticketprices.html#myw
or http://www.allearsnet.com/pl/packages07.htm

Now on to FW. When you request a specific location for a campsite you need to know that it is a request not a Guarantee. Saying that I know that FW is very good about filling these request. Here are some suggestions that will increase your chances.
1. Make sure your request is noted on your reservation and your parents reservation.
2. Fax your request to the FD at FW about 3-4 days before your arrival. If you want to see a good fax example go to the following website: http://allearsnet.com/acc/cro1.htm
3. If you are going during a busy period, for example the week between xmas and NYs it is more difficult for the resort to fill request.
4. Each disney resort guest receives a resort id card when they c/i. It serves as a room key, charge card and when there are extra magic hours or crowded parks serves a an id to get these extra park benefits. The design has changed since you were there last but does the same thing.

Hope that helps!

For the campsites....link your reservations, you'll need both ressie numbers to do this, make sure you have reserved the same type of site, full hook up or preffered(each loop only has one type of site). Disney will do their best and usually gets people traveling together close, sometimes across from each other is better than next to each other.

On one trip we bought our park tickets prior to the trip and then fretted and worried about losing them! For us, it's easier to buy when we arrive and add on if needed. We've found that WDW has comparible discounts for the tickets.

We travel with another family and always have adjoining sites. I sent a fax approximately 3 days before arriving and found the CM's helpful. This last trip we didn't get the loop we had originally requested but enjoyed the loop we were assigned.

Have a grand trip!

Like everyone else has said just link your ressies. We have been with groups of up to 5 campsites and have always been either next to each other or across from each other. We do not fax anything just link them together. You shouldn't have any problem.
