Questions about Room Rates and Tickets

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a question. Normally, we get a Disney package with the dining plan and all, but I am wondering if that is the best deal. I just called last night to get the AAA rates and was told they are not out yet, but I know that is not true. Anyway that brought this question on. If I get the room with the AAA discount can I add on the tickets and dining plan with out making it a package. I know I can do the package, but I am wondering if getting things seperate would be better. Also if I buy the tickets though the link on the disboards can I add the dining plan (I don't think so, but I am not sure.) I hope this make sense.

You can't add the dining plan without getting it as a part of a package. You can buy tickets without it becoming a package, but if you want the dining plan you need the whole thing. You can get a AAA discount on the room portion of the package, but need to go through a AAA travel agent to book the package.
