1. Explain the differences between the two.
2. Are there seperate lines--one for fire and another for ice?
3. If it's the first time you are riding DD (and you are a little chicken) which should you do first?

Thanks! :thumbsup2

The same line for both Fire and Ice until you get right before you board or waiting room. Then thats where you will decide which one. As for which one is better, thats for you to decide.:thumbsup2 Both are great and I really love Fire.

The are totally 2 different roller coasters under on roof so to speak. You will have to ride both since they are totally different. The unique thing between them is thier constant near misses and battle durring the ride.:thumbsup2

Well at least which one would be the best to start with? Remember I'm a little bit of a chicken, but I still think I'm going to ride DD. Is one side a bit tamer?

I always ride the backrow on Fire, and only the front row on Ice to get the full benefit of the coaster:cool1:

I like Fire better because it has more spots where I feel weightless. Ice has more turns and corkscrews. I can't say which one is tamer because they both have different elements that for one person can be good and for another can be terrible.

Both are 125 feet tall. Both go upside down 5 times. Fire, in my opinion is a bit smoother. It's elements are a little more graceful. Ice is good too, but it rattles you around, especially on the cobra roll next to the castle.

Fire is also cool on the airtime hill it has. The 2nd element it does, it goes up and over a hill, and during that part you can look at Ice doing a barrel roll underneath you, which is pretty cool.

Thats the best part on Fire in that picture.:thumbsup2

Fire is a bit faster and Ice has cool visuals like when it does a loop close to the wall that prevents the Dr Phillips High school kids from looking over at the coaster all day.I've always preferred Ice but I've been choosing more rides on Fire lately and is right behind Ice as far as my favorite.

I can actually see the lift hill at the beginning of the ride each day at school. ;) Hear the people screaming, too.

I think Fire is a smoother ride as well. I come off Ice feeling a bit disoriented so I've sort of moved away from it.
