I am considering applying for the Disney Rewards Visa, the premier card.
Does anyone have any personal tips/experiences on this? I cringe at applying for an additional credit card, but after thoroughly reading the card website, it appears that if I stick with a strict plan: only purchase groceries and put restaurant checks on the card, it could really earn me some points.
I should note: I live in Manhattan, where grocery prices are absorbent- the other day I was at Whole Foods, came home with 2 (full) paper grocery bags- my bill was $97!
Crazy, I know. And of course, restaurants are nuts as well. Where I work, a steak (with no sides) is $51. Yes. That's what I said. $51!
Gas doesn't really apply to me, my husband charges that to his business.
So really I'd be looking to put my groceries and dining charges on the card- and of course all my Disney purchases.
However, if I can earn $1-$2 towards Disney, it's REALLY worth it for me, even with the $49 annual fee. I think???
I am new to the Budget Area of the boards. Any pointers and tips on the credit card would be greatly appreciated.
