Questions about closing resale on VGC

We are new soon-to-be VCG owners. We just received closing documents Thursday 3/26 and both our documents and the sellers arrived at the title company today, Monday 3/30. The title agent wants to close tomorrow.

I know that VGC closes slightly differently than the Florida properties. Is there a website to see when it has been recorded? I am a bit confused about the process exactly works after closing with VGC.

We want to book a trip for mid-November by April 15th, which I know is very iffy at this point, but I want to be checking in case we can get in under the wire before the 7 months window opens up.

Any advice would be appreciated.

You may be able to search there. I never got an "official" closing date, I just happened to start checking the comptroller site and saw my deed on there. I never got anything from the agent or title company saying that it had closed. Fingers and toes crossed for you!

Typo, I meant mid-November. I will go back and edit. Dangers of being a multitasking mom!? Thanks -wish I had an extra month cushion!

Woo-hoo, just found that our deed was recorded on 3/31, the same day we closed!!! Our documents arrived to the title company (and the seller's the same day as well) on 3/30, so this is completely amazing!

FYI, California now does its recording electronically, so it no long takes extra time for VGC properties.
