Yesterday while we sat comfortably in our home north of Nashville, TN, we watched w/concern reports on Hurricane Charley. We realized Orlando and on of our favorite place on earth was going to take a direct hit. One conversations went from the animals to the CMs and then to the rides at MK. My DD(13) said she had heard that during hurricanes the top of Cindy's Castle can be disconnected and taken down so the extremely high winds won't blow it off. Now, this sounds a bit far fetched to me and I questioned her completely on this but she swears it's true. Said she heard it on a recent show about Disney on The Travel Channel. This led me to thinking about how tall it really is and what do they really do when the winds kick up. Anyone know for sure? I can't imagine take the towers down but.....
Also what about the really tall outdoor rides? Like Kraken at Sea World and the other rides at Universal Studios.
Thanks for the input
