My mom may cancel her first two nights of our Thanksgiving trip.
We had to put a deposit for T-dinner at Chef Mickey's. If she (and her DH) don't come, I will have to take them off of our PS. Will this mess up our PS? DH, DS and I still want to keep it. Will there be a problem going from 5 to 3 at Chef Mickey?

I think you have at least 24 hrs to make changes w/o losing your deposit. Anyone else? That true??

I know you can do it. Just don't know how it will play out. If you will have a larger table for three that would accomadate 5 or if they will be able to give you a smaller table (If available) or possibly a different time. Call and ask them, IF your parents have to cancel, how it would affect your PS?

If there are tables for 3 still available on the PS system, a new PS can be made and the old one can be cancelled. If, however, there are no available PSes for a party of 3, you will do best to just keep your original PS and inform them when you arrive that 2 were unable to make it. If you made a credit card deposit to guarantee seating (some restaurants require this, many do not), you will be charged $10 per person not showing up. WDW Dine or the restaurant itself may be able to offer a better solution, but generally, changes like that are subject to availability (can't book you at a table for 3 if there are none left in the system). Either way, the earlier you try, the better!
