Questions about bus/taxi from Wide World of Sports

We are planning to catch an Atlanta Braves spring training game during our trip in March. I understand that busses run to WWOS from the All Stars, Carribean Beach, and Pop Century. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from your hotel (We will be at Grand Floridian Villas).

Can anyone give advice about getting back to our hotel after the game? Is there a taxi stand? Are there a lot of busses? Is there a super long wait? My thinking is to just get on the first bus we see and then take a bus to Magic Kingdom from that hotel, and then jump on the monorail back to our hotel.

This sounds super complicated and I am wondering if its worth the bother? Any real life experiences that would sway me one way or the other?

THANKS

Taxi from GF to EWWS (ESPN Wide World of Sports) would be around $20. If it's close to game time and traffic gets backed up, it could be several dollars more in wait time.

One alternative is to bus from GF to DHS (the closest park) and taxi from there, which would be about half as expensive.

If you bus all the way, the best place to get the bus is either Pop or any All Star. It could take up to an hour to get from Pop or the All Star to EWWS, as the bus runs only every 30 minutes. All together, you should allow 2 hours travel time (worst case on bus waits).

Normally, there are not taxis waiting at EWWS, but that could be different after a Braves game. If you don't see any taxis, your plan to take any Disney bus and make your way to MK is a good one. Once again, the buses run every half hour, with both buses leaving EWWS about the same time. They might put extra buses on the route after the game. Remember that you can also take the boat as well as the monorail from MK to GF; sometimes it's faster since GF is the 1st stop by boat, but the 4th by monorail.
