Questions about booking campsites

Does anyone know when 2015 will be available to book online? I can book now if I call right? If I'm booking a week long trip, how much is the deposit, is it is a set amount, the full amount, one night's campsite? Do you get a full refund if you cancel or do they charge a fee? How much is the AAA discount and is there any way to find out if it will be available for my dates?

I believe you can make reservation I around the 400 day mark prior to your first night. I had to call to make sure of the availability b/c the online calendar didn't go that far out. The CM was very helpful. You are charged your first night stay w/ deposit due at check in. She also gave me my dates for ADR and FP+ so I could put them in my phone as a reminder. I received a confirmation email soon after I hung up that helped w/ my MDE. Pretty good experience for over the phone. Hope this helps.

You can book over the phone up to 499 days out. The price however is not guaranteed since the base rate will undoubtedly increase before then. You will be charged first nights rent as deposit. AAA discounts vary in amounts depending on time of year and even which type of site you book. Literally these discounts might not be announced until just before you arrive, so check often.

Full refund as long as you do it five days before your arrival date.

We've never stayed at FW.....when you make the reservation, do you get to request a loop/site or is it assigned when you arrive?

You can request a loop and even a specific site, but Disney does not guarantee either of them. Usually you can land a specific loop but specific sites are harder to come by.
