Are there "suite" type rooms that you can use DVC points for at any of the California hotels?

I don't think I will be able to tolerate being in a basic hotel room.

Thanks!

Here is a link to the 2007 DL Point Charts. Just as at WDW, there is no option for anything except regular rooms and Concierge level rooms. In the past, I don't recall suites being available using DVC points, but it sure can't hurt to call MS and ask. If there are any suites available, be prepared for some very high point requirements though (think higher than a GV).

Good luck! Please report back if you find something. :)

You need to call MS to get a quote on a suite. We were quoted 65 points per night for a 2 BR at the DLH in Sept '05. This was fairly comprable to the cash price with AAA discount of around $585, but since we are in permanent point debt, we bought a package with cash instead. Of course, with the change in '07 to different pricing for weekend and weeknights, the # of points for your stay will probably be either higher or lower.

By the way, the 2BR quite was very nice. It was in the Marina tower with a pool view, 1K in one BR (we also brought in a roll away to this room -- lots of room) and 2Qs in the other BR, 2 1/2 baths, with a large living room. It was perfect for our extended family of 4 adults, 3 kids.

Best of luck -- Suzanne

Thanks for the info... Haven't been to Cally in many years and we are trying to get a trip together for possibly June. I am expecting my third child in afew weeks so I would rather have the suite!

thanks!
