Question re Disney AMC Dine-In Theater

Are all the screens at the theater dine-in, or just one or a few? Thanks.

Just some. If you book tickets online, it will say fork and screen for the shows with dining.

It looks to be five or six theaters. I've always wanted to go to a movie at Fork and Screen, but it really only works well experience wise for a Romantic film (not a big fan). May try it when I hope to go in May, 2016 on a Parks off day.

We tried it once. It was OK, but not something we'd do often. They leave the lights up since people are eating. We prefer watching a movie in a darker theater.

Thanks for your responses. That's good to know about the lights. I don't think we would like that. We like a dark movie too.

When we went a few years ago the lights were completely off. I remember because I couldn't see what I was eating, which was kind of creepy.

I've been a couple of times and my experience has also been that the theater is very dark. There is this dim and slim sliver of light by the eating surface in front of each person but it's very small and hardly puts out any light. I could not see my small container of dipping sauce for whatever appetizer I had ordered; I actually kept my other hand on the container so that I could find it by touch.

Well that's interesting. It definately wasn't dark when we went. I'd try it again if they do turn down the lights.

We just went in May and the lights were definitely turned down.

We are going to see the Star Wars movie there on 12/17. I'm excited just to be able to fit a movie into our WDW schedule! BUT, we ARE going to do lunch first at the new Jock Lindsey Hanger place,just in case things don't work out well in the theatre. That way,we won't be hungry or aggravated, for any reason,while watching the movie.
